Hey all! I need some tips....I'm going on vaation for 8 days and won't have access to Internet or MFP. I don't want ot gain weight on vacation, so any tips for not gaining while away?

Ready for weigh in, so here goes...... Start weight: 122 July 15: 120.4 July 22: 118.4 (-2) July 29: 118.2 (-.2) Not really down anything, but no gain either so I'll take it.

I think a stability ball workout is a great idea! Or maybe something with a BOSU ball if people if people have one? With a stability ball some moves I like to do are crunches on the ball or holding a plank position wi my feet balanced on the ball. It really works your core muscles.

Not ready for weigh in since I haven't been up to the exercise challenges this week. BUT I did manage to keep to no sweets, which was especially hard since today was 2 for 1 day at the ice cream shop. I also went for a slow walk on the beach today. It's not much exercise, but it's my first in about a week, so I'll take it!

It's seems everyone did so good this week, even if it was just maintaining! I always find it hard to lose weight in the summer since ther are so many challenges, like bbqs, etc. I'll be facing the big challenge of eating while on vacation soon, but really want tomstay on track. Start weight: 122 July 15: 120.4 July 22: 118.4 (-2) July 29: TBA (+/- previous week) Down 2 lbs this week, but I think it may be water weight cause I've been sick. With the heat soaring I have to start getting motivated to exercise again.

Missed working out again today, because I'm still sick. Ugh. But I ate very lightly. I'm nervous for tomorrow's weigh in since I didn't really exercise at all this week. I'm hoping to at least get in some yoga tomorrow and start with the arms challenge.

I gave into my ice cream weakness today as the temp soared to 100 degrees, BUT I got the lowfat option with fruit as a topping instead of my usual hot fudge. We could do some sort of weigt training challenge. Like doing 20 bicep curls & 20 kickbacks a day? Try to work on toning up our arms to look good in tank tops!

For the 2nd day in a row I REALLY wanted ice cream, and I passed it up. Whenthe temperature spikes to 100 later this week I think it will be harder to do.

Lychees are delicious! They kind of remind me of papayas. They make a great smoothie if you blend if with some ice and some greek yogurt. I haven't found a new fruit yet, but I'm going to figure out something to do with the bananas in my house. SInce I'm sick the only thing I may be up for is finding recipes today.

I have Zumba for the Wii. It takes a while to get used to, but it is really fun. I always try to score more points from working harder. I have yet to win the first level! Weighed in at 120.4 this morning, so I'm down a little over a pound! I was also very proud of myself at the movies today. I REALLY wanted butter on my (small) popcorn, but got it without.
