I have an Ozeri Pro I got on Amazon for about $15. It works great!

Split pea soup, cuban black beans, red beans, and I'm sure many other soups. It would also be good with southern style collards or other greens.

Another vote for air popped popcorn! It's a whole grain and provides a bit of fiber, and you can have quite a bit for a reasonable amount of calories.

I alternate it with biking. It's working for me!

Absolutely! These are some of my favorite movies ever!

Feel free to add me! Due to the horrible weather around here, I'm stuck inside using my bike trainer. But am looking forward to riding the trails this spring.

Agree with figuring it out on your own. Being short, and old, MFP gave me 1200 as well, even to lose 1 pound per week. I have upped it to 1400 and am still losing more than 1 pound per week, while eating back most of my exercise calories. I may bump it up a bit more and see if I still lose. To me the idea is that it be…

Definitely check with your doctor. But I also agree that your ponytail could be to blame, especially if it seems the hair is breaking off at that level. I have started braiding my hair instead, and I get MUCH less breakage.

Another person who uses coffee crystals! I like them with chocolate protein powder and almond milk. Tastes like a mochaccino (sort of). I have subbed this for my usual morning iced coffee.

I also eat six small meals, with the last one being "snack" for night time. I just make sure to leave enough calories for that meal, and I'm fine. I'm very much a grazer, so this works for me. Some things I Iike to snack on are air popped popcorn and skinny cow ice cream.

Homemade split pea! It freezes great, low cal, high fiber, and can be made vegetarian if you want. 1 pound bag yellow split peas (or green) 4 cups broth (chicken, or vegetable, from cubes or however you like) 1 onion diced 4-8 cups water salt and black pepper to taste Options: Ham, or a ham bone or liquid smoke, cumin and…

If you already own a bike, get a trainer for it, so you can use it indoors. I have done that for winter. Much, much cheaper than buying a stationary bike!

In! Please send an invite. : D

Skinny Cow ice cream is my salvation. I do my best to fit whatever it is that I'm craving into my plan. Some things that seem to fill me up are home made baked tortilla chips with guacamole or salsa and air popped popcorn. I budget my calories with quite a few left for a good snack at night. I eat six small meals a…

This winter, I would have to say it's my snow shovel. *laughs*

I have issues falling asleep due to a mind that won't quit as well. Here is what I found that seems to work for me. Audio books. I try to concentrate on what the person is saying, and it stops my mind from spinning. I fall asleep within about 15-20 minutes I think. All I know is it's rare for me to make it to the end of a…

What I use is an old ottoman. It's the right height, and it's cushy. Plus it was free! I'm sure you could find some sort of bench that would work free/cheap. If it doesn't have padding, some fabric and stuffing plus a staple gun would fix that...

Another Vaper here, since October 2010. Never thought I would be able to quit cigarettes, but honestly I'm not even tempted anymore. I may try to dial down the nic, but I just find I hit the e-cig less frequently anyhow, so not too worried about it. I use REOs box mods, and mix my own liquid. Sure e-cigs may not be…

I use pesto instead of red sauce on pizza. It's also good on green beans and roasted asparagus. I'm going to have to try it in soup now, that sounds great!

Another person with long, curly hair! I do the conditioner wash daily, and shampoo a couple times per week.
