My son loves the Land Before Time (cartoon) movies on Netflix. After each one we watch I am sitting there crying like a baby.

Just remembering it's a holiday and I like flowers is enough for me.

Changes all the time! Currently: Ten Years Gone "We are eagles of one nest, The nest is in our soul "

I haven't had ANY form of carbonated beverage since 12/25/12 (the day I joined MFP). I drank diet pepsi daily. I have to say I feel great. Less bloating, less gas, and I guess less sugar cravings. I've never super-loved sweets but prior to joining, I was having something daily. I don't crave sweets now. I think that…

I have been shopping for one too! I am interested in what a good weight is for a beginner. 5, 7, or 10?

If you're tracking sodium, don't forget to add the sea salt. I used maybe a half of a teaspoon the other day, and it pushed me over my daily limit (and I consciously try to limit sodium). Agree with above posters about measurements.

Bump; saving for later. GREAT THREAD

Yessss! Another metalhead! What do you like?

I've been eating these flax wraps from Damascus Bakeries lately. I put sauce and some cheese on them and bake into a pizza. Delicious and about 200 cal.

Anything covered in powdered sugar, cotton candy, and sausage & peppers sandwiches.

Nope... even when I was a kid this happened. It feels like it's going my gums are going to burst. Maybe it's a blood pressure issue... I don't know, I guess I am a weirdo! LOL

When I run it makes my teeth/gums hurt! I know it's so weird. Other exercise doesn't do that... just running.

Depending on how I feel... If I am tired - I go for more carby stuff: - 1 brown rice cake with 1 tbsp peanut butter - a slice of toast If I am hungry - I like more protein: - premade tuna salad (with carrots and onion) with 8 rice crackers - yogurt, cheese - cottage cheese I tend to stay away from fruit snacks since it…

I can't seem to find them @ stores by me, so I got some flax seeds instead. They are a nice addition to food.

9 months my @$$! My son is 3 and a half. haha ... its sooo hard to lose baby weight for some people, of which I am one :(

Aw. everyone's replies make me so sad! People can be so needlessly cruel, especially when there's so much other suffering in this world. I still think about the time in middle school, a popular boy turned around and said to me "You're fat. You think you're skinny but your not -- really, you're fat." ... and turned back…

Sushi - even sashimi (no rice). It was like 150-200 per piece, I think. Nuts I was surprised by. And also apples! I added cinnamon the other day and it was 6 calories per teaspoon. I know that's nothing, but most spices don't have calories, so I was surprised. Re: the chicken, I live off the stuff. I weigh it and eat…

Hahaha ... I SO do that too! It's more comfy!

How long? That sounds soooo good!

I just bought the WeightWatchers New Complete Cookbook and LOVE it. I don't like Cooking Light magazine or recipes -- they are not very light at all and often are too complex.

We took our son to an allergist for tests to see if he's allergic to nuts, etc. He wasn't but the process was interesting and helpful! My nephew is allergic to soy... I hear that's pretty common.

I am in the same boat, somewhat! I only have 1 small child who hasn't started pre-K yet but my situation is quite similar (except I make the dinners). A few things I am thinking of trying out: - working out once or twice a week after 8pm, when my son is in bed - workout videos at home - weekends: squeeze in a long walk…

I am 5"2" & 165. Close enough?! ;) I like making new friends!

Kale! No.. really, I'm serious  Sauteed with some shallot, and squirted some lemon juice - yum!

I have a 3 year old son, who I love more than anything! No one else makes me laugh and smile as much as he does. He's recently gotten out of diapers and I am so proud! (Add me if you're a mom of a young one too, I would love to share recipes!)

You are beautiful both before and after! Great job!! Such an inspiration!

Bump! :glasses:

My son has a few books that use the word "fat" in reference to animals (in a social kind of way).... he's 3. I refuse to read the word out loud! I don't want to start conditioning him now to think that way. I remember in Kindergarten other kids teasing me and others too. They start young. :( You seem to be doing great…
