That's fantastic! Yay for you getting back on track :) The group has just been so quiet, I wasn't sure if anyone would be posting still.

http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1161603/so-you-want-a-nice-stomach/p1 That thread has great information.

I gained about 40 pounds within the first couple years that my husband and I were married. It even says on my profile "ready to get rid of my 'happily married weight.'" :) A couple of "sheesh, I've gained a lot of weight" moments got me motivated, and here I am. I started reading the forums and learning some things about…

Good for you on the loss! Regarding your post, are you doing any strength exercises? If not, you can try Stronglifts 5x5 or New Rules of Lifting for Women. I have the NROLFW book-- I personally didn't care for the program itself, but the book has a ton of valuable information in it. Here's the link to the women's SL group…

*Tap tap tap* Is this thing on? :flowerforyou: After missing all of last week with a strained/pulled/ incredibly unhappy neck muscle, I got some Chalean Extreme in this morning again. Very exciting!

First of all, congratulations on your progress so far. It sounds like you're doing really well! I think yours is a common issue. We are usually our own worst critic, so it may be difficult for some of us to see positive changes. Outside, I still see work that needs to be done, but everyone else is telling me how great I…

Planning has made all the difference for me. If I know what restaurant I'm going to, I'll check the menu online to figure out what I want and have a couple of backup meals in case that location doesn't serve my planned meal. If the restaurant doesn't have any info online, I'll eat light during the day, do a little extra…
-
But what will I worry and complain about before, during, and after my restaurant experience?
-
I love Insanity! I'm planning on doing another round at some point. Go at your own pace, use good form, and keep going. Good luck!

I'm just going to quote this because these folks have become some of my MFP heroes. :) If not for many of you, I might have given up or would at least be spinning my wheels... and maybe hating life because I thought I had to give up pizza and cheese.
-
I'm sure if someone found me because my face is in my profile pic, then that would be okay. However, if a co-worker or someone outside of my support system sent a FR, I'd probably decline it. MFP is the only place I can be 100% open about everything. My "inner circle" knows about my issues, goals, struggles, etc., but not…

I'm 5'9" and my goal weight is 145-150... we'll see how I feel at 150.
-
I get my stuff from Old Navy and Walmart. Inexpensive, comfortable, and last a while (at least my clothes have).
-
OP, I'm 5'9", and your current weight is my goal weight (give or take a little depending how I feel when I get there). Are you wanting weight loss or just to change the way your body looks now? Take a look at these threads, and best of luck to you in your fitness goals.…

I don't pay much attention to it. It's fun to see the prediction, but it doesn't take into account things that might affect the scale reading from day-to-day or any plateaus. So, if you track that number for motivation or whatever, that's fine-- but don't let it make or break your drive if the number doesn't match. :)

Burn 3 today! I increased my weights on all but one of my lifts, so I'm feeling pretty excited. Think I can use the muscle soreness and fatigue in my arms as a reason to ask Hubby to do the dishes today? ;) How are you all doing?
-
Good for you Amee! Did you get a workout in today? Hoya, that's great that you won't be on the DL for too much longer. I love the "grinning like an idiot" line; I'm happy you got to go for a ride! I wasn't happy with my results because I let stress and my mental issues get in the way of my nutrition, so I gained a pound…

You worked so hard and did such a fantastic job. I'm proud of you!

Avocado Egg Salad 1 avocado 3 hard boiled eggs Dab of mayo (I use 15g of the Kraft mayonnaise with olive oil) Mash the avocado, cut up and add in the hard boiled eggs. You don't need to add mayonnaise, but I do to make it a bit creamier. Season it (or not) however you'd like, and there you go! I usually get 3 servings out…

I am! The green ones flake a little, but it's reducing. Maybe it'll stop completely after I've used them more. Other than that, they're great! The plates are really easy to change and are really adding to my workouts.
-
Nice! Is the puppy helping you with your workouts yet? I decided to redo the Burn Phase of Chalean Extreme. I wasn't happy with my results, so I'm trying it again with less stress and heavier weights. Plus, Hubby wants to try to start working out with me more often and I didn't want him to have to start in Phase 2 since it…

No wonder so many people get confused.
-
Hoya- that's fantastic! How long until you can be doing what you were? Like Amee said, walking is a good placeholder :) Amee- I ordered this from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MN50IZW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 Hubby got the black ones. It's a little spendy, but I figure it'll be…

Amee- How fun! What kind of puppy is she? Glad you're still with us :) Holly- Well done with C25K. It sounds like you're really doing well with that! I had Chalean Extreme Burn 2 today. This is my last week of this phase, then I move on to Push next month. I ordered some adjustable dumbbells from Amazon, and am really…

Here's a picture I've seen posted in some of the forums. I'm at 29% right now, and am working toward 20-25% As for some nice stomach advice, this thread is written by a smart & amazing lady. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1161603/so-you-want-a-nice-stomach/p1

Holly-- is there any way you could fit some of those cravings into your day? When I fit 2 oreos into my day, it makes it a lot easier to resist eating a whole package later on. It's tough when those cravings hit! Hoya-- I hope you enjoy your ride and it's just what you & your horse need! Chalean Extreme Burn Intervals…
-
OP, good for you for taking that step. You've gotten some good advice above. My biggest advice to you is to make little changes as you go rather than changing everything all at once. Be consistent with your logging, and most of all be patient! It'll take some time, but you'll get there. Best of luck to you!
-
Hoya, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you & your horse are back at it again soon! I did Chalean Extreme Burn 3 today. I'm getting better at the lunges, so that's fun. I always hated lunges and pushups, but now I don't struggle as much with lunges and I actually did 2 pushups on my toes the other day. Pretty…

I recommend New Rules of Lifting for Women. I don't do the program (it wasn't fun to me), but there's a ton of great information.

When I first met my next door neighbors, they were saying how they smoke their own meats and will bring us some. The lady said, "We'll bring you dinner one evening-- wait, you're not vegan, are you?" I'm not sure what about me said "vegan" to her, but it was funny. To clarify (just in case), there's nothing wrong with…
