I have experienced this as well. Back when I lost 55 pounds and was back at my high school weight. Now I'm on a spiritual journey and experiencing an awakening. What I have learned was my weight and what I looked like had nothing to do with my happiness. Quiet the voices in your head and accept yourself as you are. You are…

I use Lavender (mixed with a carrier oil of course) to help sleep. I mix lavender and frankincense with coconut oil(as a carrier) to use as a moisturizer on my face. Prior to that I was just using coconut oil on my face. The EO gives it a nice fragrance plus clears up any blemishes pretty quickly. I don't sell anything and…

I use a heart rate monitor and found no matter how much effort I put into, it's never as high as anything given to me by MFP or and Zumba calorie burn calculator. I find MFP over states most burns with the exception of walking.

I watch sugar closely. Occasionally I'll have a treat, but most often avoid it completely except in fruit. Also, all the research I've done shows sugar feeds cancer and is the main culprit that promotes food cravings. I have to agree. Nearly 4 months later, cravings are gone. Feeling like a million bucks!

I guess for me it wasn't about eating a specific diet or following a fad. My husband and I were looking for answers to our crashes and cravings. The health benefits we have experienced have been a tremendous bonus and makes it worth the effort. I no longer have teenage like acne, my cellulite is about 90% gone even though…

I have to agree with you there. I'm going strictly on my personal experience. I won't say going wheat free increased my weight loss. I've been stalled for quite some time since I haven't been moving enough. However, the other health benefits I mentioned previously are true.

Hi there! I'm right there with you on the energy level observation. I find if I replace wheat with healthy fats, carbs and proteins, I do not have the roller coaster blood sugar crashes. There are definitely loads of benefits to the lifestyle. You'll enjoy Wheat Belly. He goes into great detail, and some of it is kind of…

Links to debunk his facts are appreciated if you're making such statements. Myself and my husband have seen great benefits including acne clearing up, year round allergies diminished, cellulite fading, acid reflux cured, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. I didn't read his book until AFTER I stopped the wheat. Results…

Wheat Belly explains the phenomena regarding the increase in sensitivity. The doctor goes into great detail of his research and how the wheat of today is genetically modified and not good for human consumption.

Read Wheat Belly and make your own decision. The doctor who wrote the book explains that most of the population has some kind of wheat sensitivity but shows its face in various ways. Weight gain is just one of them. Other stuff includes acne, IBS and a large range of other symptoms. It's the best book I ever read and I'm…
