Just realized I'm the only dude here I think ... is that ok?

I'm in for this ... I need it. Not sure of my reward. SW: (Starting weight) 292 CW: (Current weight) 288 GW: (Goal weight for the month) 282 ... stretch goal is 280. Weigh in Dates: 3/01: 3/08: 3/15: 3/22: 3/29: End of Month (or whatever weigh in days you use) Total weight lost:

My schedule, is generally M/W/F one week, M/T/Th the next week, then back to M/W/F ... those days include both weights/core and cardio. On the weekends I'm adding a long bike ride (indoors for now), but by and large, when it's a rest day I rest. Honestly I find that I need that rest day or I'm toast.

1,370 minutes of exercise in February, over 23 hours and more than 10,000 calories burned in the month. After today I should have 220 miles on the bike for February. My goal was 200. Strength gains in the gym. Gains in core strength from the program I'm using. Losing inches despite very little movement on the scale.…

Does it feel like overall fatigue or do you have sharp pains?

Nice wheels OldDog!

With a 56 pound weight loss I will say you inspire me ... and I'm impressed. And I'll encourage you keep at it, because you're going to inspire others. and you're going to feel incredible when you drop those other 20 pounds :)

I thought about it ... really wanted the Force but was hesitant due to the rash reports (and ultimately the recall) so I never did. Got a Polar H7 HRM instead and pair it to my phone for the time being. It's great for tracking my workouts and I'll be able to use it w/GPS on my bike this season when Spring finally arrives.…

They're mostly "chamois" these days, as in chamois in name only, but that's ok. The new pads are an advancement (some disagree) over the old chamois. Performance is a good suggestion, as is a local bike shop if you have one. A local bike shop is so much more than just a place to buy bikes and stuff. Like Leadfoot says,…

Good advice already here. 15 miles is pretty easy unless it's incredibly hilly. Race support is much like you expect, though the ride will probably have a SAG wagon to help with serious mechanicals or medical emergencies. You should be able to change a flat tire without having to rely on the SAG though. I second the notion…

Same but I use mine with my Galaxy S3. It's fantastic.

Happened to me too ... saw an immediate loss when I started eating better, but when I added strength training I went back up. It was pretty discouraging. So last week I didn't bother with the scale at all. I noticed body changes, my stomach flattening slightly, muscles slightly more defined and oddly enough I'm really…

Mine are similiar : http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-HBS-730-Bluetooth-Headset/dp/B009A5204K/ref=pd_cp_cps_0 Freaking LOVE them ... No snagging wires on weight machines, they stay planted in my ears while I'm doing my core work and they sound great.

Been 41 for 16 days now :) Aiming to lose about 50-65 pounds this year before Thanksgiving. No advice, without more information about how you're trying to accomplish it. But feel free to add me as a friend if you like. I log in, and log my diary everyday :) Good luck!

I think my update was about a month ago ... at least. Completely out of the blue, I was at work so I was on their network and not WiFi ... I'd give them a call and find out what the hold up is :)
-
You're correct ... it does require the update to 4.3, I forgot that. Yeah ... VZW pushed that update to me (SURPRISINGLY) a month or so ago I think. Glad they did, just didn't expect it.

Which time? LOL .... Not so sure it was an Epiphany Moment as it was a moment of survival instinct kicking in. In December 2009 my fiancee died in an accident. We were supposed to be married the next month. Alone and grieving I saw the new road bikes we'd purchased in the fall of 2009 and they were a constant reminder of…

For me it's right after work. And I'm lucky because I get off at 4, and that's about an hour before the gym starts to get really busy (helps that the gym is on the second floor of our four story building too). Gives me time to get my weights in before it gets busy and then I hop on the bike and do an hour of cardio while…

You know you can use the Polar Beat app with your H7 on your Android, right? there isn't an app for the loop, but there is for hte H7.
-
Thanks Mel :)
-
I recently got an H7 for use with my phone (GS3). I bought it specifically because it works with my phone, it works with the app I use to track my cycling, and because it would pair with the Loop should I choose to get that down the road. Right now I use the H7 to track my calories while doing my strength training as well…

I just got a deal on LivingSocial for a local yoga studio. :) I've done a little yoga at home, but want to try it in a studio. I think I'll get more out of it.
-
Got mine for $58 last week at Best Buy
-
Happy H7 user here too ... and honestly I didn't think it was that pricey for all it does. Found mine on sale too, so that helped.
