  • I have the same issue, but I'm pulling a wagon with two boys weighing about 50 lbs. I walk up hills and then with going downhill I have to keep to wagon from rolling down ahead of me. I just log it as walking at 3 mph. I know I burn more than the 133 calories that it gives me (especially due to the hill I have to climb),…
  • definitely something to celebrate!!!
  • While the couch to 5k is great, I tried to do it with the 30 Day Shred. It was hard for me to fit both in during the day. Grant it, I have two young boys, so I only had time to workout for 30 minutes a day. Also, I felt even more achey doing both than just the 30 Day Shred. However, that is just me. If you have more time,…
  • I don't know if this could play a part in your bathroom, but it did mine... The floor in my bathroom is tile... The problem with this was that my scale was never balanced. I could get on three different times and have three different numbers. Finally, I ended up moving my scale downstairs. You have to find a perfectly…
  • lost 45 lbs.. MFP down 2,966
  • Absolutely inspiring!!!
  • that's awesome!!!!!!!!!! good job
  • I used it in the beginning of my weight loss journey. I haven't played it since before I started the 30 Day Shred which is a month and a half ago. It definitely adds variety. You might not get fantastic results, but it is exercise that is out of the norm of your daily routine. Any type or amount of exercise is good. I…
  • my initial 30 pounds that I lost were with barely any exercise... However, like you said, exercise has benefits. It does aid in the way you lose weight as well as it sets you up to continue to maintain your weight when you get to your goal. I just finished the 30 Day Shred this past week. I haven't decided what to do next…
  • awwwwwwwww.... that's is soooo beautiful!!! You have me teared up as well...
  • It has happened to me... Actually it happened this week at a very good time... I was starting to get upset due to the fact that my mood was low and I was getting frustrated because things are not moving as fast as they were when I started losing weight. I know that as you get closer to your goal weight it will slow down.…
  • that's is an awesome NSV!!!!!!!! You should be super proud of yourself... Keep smiling!!! Sounds like you found yourself a good running buddy
  • bump... I have two boys and both were c-sections...
  • I will honestly say that I got crazy addicted to the scale these past 4 weeks. I was doing the 30 Day Shred, and the scale did not move for me. The worst part was that I was 202 lbs. Just 3 lbs to being in One-derland, so that really added to the "addiction". Finally, after starting level 3, it started to move. I finally…
  • That's awesome!!! I had the same starting weight.... I am currently at 199!!! Keep up the hard work, it takes time but slowly and surely you will get to your goal
  • i finished the 30 day shred in 30 days!!!!!!
  • I had the same problem when I first started the 30 DS (just finished it yesterday!!!).... Keep going... Do not stop.. Your body is adjusting... It will get better after Day 3... What seemed to help was doing the exercises. It seemed to take the stiffness out of me especially with the warm ups. Keep going. Heads up... You…
  • wow!!! that's Amazing!!! You are such an inspiration!!! I know you will reach One-derland very soon!!!
  • It depends on how you feel... I did 30 straight (just finished it yesterday!!!)... If you feel that you can handle it, go straight through the 30 days. If you need a break once a week, take it. For me, stopping even one day would've caused me to take more break days. Therefore, I probably would've never finished it. I even…
  • Do you count your exercise calories?? I add those in... I know that on the days that I exercise (like the past 30 days for the 30 Day Shred), I tend to eat more. I need the extra fuel. With those calculated in I still stay under 1200. The more work our body does, the more fuel we need for it!!! Keep up the great work...
  • Most people do each level for about 10 days... Some extend it longer, and others tend to cut it shorter if they feel that the level is too easy. Do what works best for you.
  • Great job!!! I think the levels are still hard even when you are on day 8, 9, and 10 lol.... Level 1 was the only one that was easy those last three days... Level 2 and even Level 3 are difficult, but I tend to switch over to the harder moves instead of the modified moves.
  • If you are able to lay down in your living room, then you have enough room... I actually complete mine in the dining room (since my living room is flooded with toys lol)... I play it on my computer instead of the TV/DVD player... It gives me enough space... So if you are able to lay down with your arms and legs stretched…
  • Keep up the good work... even 200 over is still below what your maintenance is, so you are still going to lose weight!!
  • If you are looking to tone, you will definitely get it from the 30 Day Shred... I'm on level 3 day 7... Yea for 3 days left!!! At the halfway point (level 2 day 5/ day 15), I had lost 4.8 inches.. A lot of the inches were from my waist... It definitely will tone you.
  • I would wear my shorts with my one piece swimsuits. It definitely does create drag, and if you are swimming laps, it will fall off.... If you are doing water aerobics, then you should be fine... I am self conscious in a swimsuit as well... The more you go without your shorts/skirt, the more relaxed you'll be without it...…
  • definitely don't trust the scale during the 30 Day Shred... I initially gained a couple of pounds... I just finally dropped those pounds... It was very discouraging, but looking at how many inches I lost kept me going... I lost 4.8 inches in the first half of the 30 day shred... I will be finished in 3 days... I'll return…
  • I have 3 days left of my 30 Day Shred... I will post my final results then.... (I posted on here when I finished halfway through and had lost 4.8 inches) I'm excited to see my final results
  • If you feel like you can handle level 2, then start back there... You still completed 14 days!!! I think that can add to the discouragement sometimes, because people start over when they "miss a day" due to reasonable issues... I was sick for one day (I have 3 days left of the 30 Day Shred now), I could only complete half…
