I used my hrm this morning and rode 57 minutes at 10 miles per hour and burned 474 calories. That seemed high to me. My average heart rate through out was 148.

I use EA Active 2 right now and put together my own hour long programs using 5 lb weights and I easily burn between 500-600 calories an hour. I think it is a very decent workout.

Nope, no side effects at all. Good luck and feel free to ask me if you have anymore questions, :)

They've been doing this in Europe for years.

I take this. I started because I have PCOS and Insulin Resistance and my DR. said to give it a try. I always had a really hard time losing weight even though I ate normally and exercised. The Mulberry supplements have been a Godsend for me. They kick started my weight loss and I haven't looked back since. I take 2 before…

Thank you! That is exactly what I believe also. There is a difference between eating 1500 calories and burning 500, then simply eating 1000 calories.
-
No, not really. Yes.

I don't really eat mine. My net is usually around 1000 and I have lost 82 lbs, I have tons of energy and feel great. It's all about doing what works for YOU! Forgot to add that I only 5´ though, so probably makes a difference in how many calories my body needs...

I got my Polar back today, the guy just said it was not fixable and gave me a brand new one since it was under warranty. I asked if he knew what was broken on it, but he wasn't the stores main Polar guy, so he didn't know. Let's hope this one works better then the last!

Congrats on your loss so far and keep up the good work! :)

I aim for @ 500 a day.

I was officially diagnosed 13 years ago when I was trying to get pregnant with my first child. The only "pills" I take is Mulberry leaf and it has done wonders for helping me loose weight and control my insulin. Fell free to add me as a friend if you like! :)

I will for sure post an update. It is far to common of a problem for it to be anything BUT a defect in my opinion. I always washed it correctly, it was tight, I changed the battery and definitely wet it enough.

I just sent my FT40 back because it was doing the same thing. I only had t for 6 months, so was NOT a happy camper. The place I bought it from sent it to Polar to have them look at it. I should have it back or a new one in a week or two. This seems to be a common problem from what I researched, so I am starting to think…

Nope, I eat when I am hungry period. I have lost 81 lbs this way, have a ton of energy, look good. It's all about doing what works for YOU.

I love it! I use 5 lbs weights with it and put together my own hour long workouts (Warm up, cardio, upper body, cardio, lower body, core, cool down.) I burn between 500-600 calories a go.

Amen! We all do what works for us.

I have the FT40, I bought it about 6 months ago. The first couple of months were ace, but since then I have had nothing but problems. It looses my heart rate, shoots up to 220 etc. I brought it back they changed the battery in the wear link and it worked for exactly ONE day and now it is back to acting up. I am bringing it…

"You can raise that amount to around 300 calories, though, through a 5 minute vigorous *kitten* session, according to Japanese scientist Dr. Shukan Tokuho. " That really must be vigorous to burn 300 cals, like hanging from a chandelier or doing push ups whilst pleasuring yourself! *lol*

I wet the thing like crazy also! *lol*

If I am not mistaken it is the limit it sets for when you switch from "fat Burning" to "fitness burning". Below that number you are in the fat burning zone, above the fitness zone. It doesn't really effect anything unless you are interested in that.

I have it! So far it is pretty good, my problem with it is that there is only a select amount of workouts open and the longer you play the more become available. It's a bit of a catch 22, because I don't get a good workout from the ones available, so I don't use it often, which of course means new and more difficult ones…

EA Sports Active 1, More Workouts, EA Sports Active 2, are all good. Golds Gym Cardio Workout (which is basically cardio boxing) is also one of my faves.

I just ate a double caramel one the other day! Sometimes in life you are aloud a treat, and eating ice cream with my kids on a beautiful sunny day is the best kind of treat I can imagine! <3

I believe whole grain is better for you because it contains actual "whole grains" as apposed tho whole wheat which could be just regular four with the bran added back in.
-
Sometimes I will eat some of them, sometimes I won't. I eat when I am hungry.

I use it all the time and love it! I don't find the HRM to be accurate (for me). My Polar always has me burning more calories then the game says. I use 5 lbs weights instead of the band that came with it, and have created a couple custom 1 hour workouts that I use. There are a couple things that I have an issue with. It…

According to my HRM, mine is 85-90 every morning, which seems really high to me??

I add a teaspoon to my coffee every morning!
