Call poison control, immediately. In the meantime, drink 2 gallons of milk then take ipecac to barf. Finally, have a Coke while you wait for the paramedics:laugh:

You got me thinking because I love olives, but rarely eat them because of the saltiness, so I found this: You want to make sure that they are less salty and we're going to drain the brine off of the olives, just take it right off and then what we want to do is once all the brine is drained, we want to put them in a bowl of…

Just want to repeat what you just said "If you don't love yourself heavy, you will not feel you deserve to be thin" ...great. I interpreted the heavy to mean 'a lot' I had a wretched night last night too, so thanks for asking this question and thanks for all the motivating responses:happy:

Heavy overeating tonight. Sweets in the house from Valentines Day. Able to stop as soon as I got on here and logged. I don't feel very good physically, but my attitude is postitive. It's an isolated event. Me: 14 Binge: 1 It would have been very different without my support system on here.,

since finding this site, I get on here and lurk about in the forums. Lots of them are very funny and I get to laugh which is always good. At the same time I get a lot of motivation from people on here, Home alone = loud music, singing along, and dancing all crazy stuff. Get busy doing something that totally distracts you.

I third it. I am relatively new and I have 100 pounds to lose. I let MFP set my calorie limit to lose 1.5pounds per week because I have so much extra weight. I eat back all my exercise calories. I have lost weight steadily - 3 pounds the last two weeks - and am definitely creating new eating patterns that will be fine…

Great! Well said Log it all, no matter what!:blushing: I think that is a huge step to recovery from this.

I just saved 200 calories for valentine chocolates, I can certainly fit a beer in here and there. Most guys don't drink a beer, they drink a 6-pack, therefore beer bellies. :ohwell:

I never hit my child, and he is extremely well behaved. There are two different manifestations of this problem - one is the inability to attend with hyperactivity and the other is just inattentive. I think it makes a big difference which type you have as to how you address the issues. My son, who has the inattentive type,…

As an adult who suffered with this long before anyone knew what it was, I encourage you to consider the medications. Dealing with the symptoms of ADHD/ADD in educational settings is devastating. I just - at age 54- was able to finish college recently while on medication and using an ADHD coach. 40 years ago there was a…

Everyone here knows about the 'ignore' button, right? Use it!

Her account is de-activated. I guess that was just now, because she can't post unless her account is active, right?
-
Wait, you mean to say you rely on your own mental acuity and emotional maturity to simply read something and decide then - after reading it - whether to ignore it or not? It's almost like the real world, interacting with different kinds of people. Very brave, sir. I like it. [/quote] Well, compare it to eating something…

We should keep this information available to newcomers somehow. Sometimes I enjoy the goofing around, but there are times when it just annoys me and interferes with the topic. You don't have to keep people on ignore. Just un-ignore when you are in the mood for some goofy stuff. I agree, it is a wonderful sense of freedom.…

I have to respond because I just realized something!!! MFP is so good for me because I log everything and I can see what I have really done. Lately I have had two overeating episodes that would have led to a binge, except I looked at the calories I consumed and realized that I was just overeating and it would all balance…

I bought 4 boxes and immediately gave them away! I hope to have your good habits soon, but for now I am avoiding temptation.

My goal is to stay at or under 175 cal. after midnight - that's my problem time. Last night I discovered something that was 160 cals but not so healthy, so I added a green veggie which I figured had no calories, but in fact it was 42 cals which put me over my goal. I am not going to let LNS get that point. I am calling it…

Glad you figured it out!! I realized that my binge was partly tied to my frustrating day, but also was about my losing 3 pounds on my weigh in the day before. I had a week before that of often going over my calorie goals and I guess I just started thinking that I could get away with it...of course I can't because I don't…
