I would have to say Chad Bauer. Not exactly sure how his last name is spelled but he has the perfect body. He's a vegan bodybuilder.

I use apple cider vinegar in all my salads. I'm addicted to it! Apple cider vinegar, some olive oil, a little bit of sea salt and a little bit of lime juice and it takes away the bitterness from Spinach. Spinach is one of the healthiest veggies with a very high chlorophyll content so I eat tons of it.
-
All this re-quoting over and over with sarcastic comments is ridiculous. Grow up.
-
I would try taking organic raw unfiltered Apple Cider vinegar 2-3 times daily.

Well since some of you sau they are safe then maybe you should help pass the GMO labeling laws. That way you can make sure your food is genetically modified before you buy it. :)
-
I guess it can do you good because of the vitamins. But you won't be getting the benefits of the enzymes because it's pasteurized.
-
No they're not labeled out here in the United States. And Monsanto has been spending millions of dollars making sure that labeling is not enforced. I'm thinking of moving to Europe for that reason.
-
Raw foodists, specially the hardcore health freaks just sprout their lentils & beans and eat them like that. Sprouted lentils are delicious by the way.

You can purchase 100% cacao frm rawforbeaty dot com

I don't care who thinks GMO's are safe. Bottom line they should be labeled. I like to know what I'm eating. We're not rats.

Lmfao. Good one. Did you see the new pigs they genetically engineered in China that glow in the dark? They used a jelly fish gene to do that. I wonder if jellyfish-pigs are safe to eat?? They are because there's no proof yet that they're not safe, lol.
-
Why are they safe? Because they produce their own pesticides that explode the stomachs of insects? Because they are resistant to Roundup and other herbicides? Because the BT pollen from GE corn nearly extinct the monarch butterflies???... No thank you.

They also refer to other research as saying " Adverse effects of this diet in children have included calcium oxalate and urate kidney stones... vomiting, amenorrhea(when a girl misses her period) , hypercholesterolemia(high cholesterol) and vitamin deficiencies. Never did I say he died from his heart disease or high blood pressure.
-
Well anyways I'm not here to debate. I said what I had to say and if you want to see the references you can purchase the book from Amazon or any Barnes & Noble. It's a 400+ page book so I'm not gonna go into detail with all the references published in the nutritional journals. You want the data? Buy it. Take care.

10% of the subjects reported hair loss in a 6 month period. That's a very convincing correlation.
-
Your point is?
-
Well if you don't think constipation, bad breath, and hair loss is bad then I guess you can say it's not bad.
-
What data would you like to see? I have it all on hand.
-
No offence taken. We're just not each other's type ;)

Sorry, was overweight and had heart disease + high blood pressure.

Here is what NUTRITIONAL BIOCHEMIST T. Colin Campbell wrote about the Atkins diet. Great advice from one of the most well respected nutrition experts in the world.. THE ATKINS CRISIS In case you haven't noticed, there is an elephant in the room. It goes by the name "low-carb diet," and it has become very popular. Almost…

I assume you haven't read the book?
-
@ whoever mentioned cutting grains and complex carbs. Well the original post was about the Atkins diet. Which doesn't only cut the bad processed carbs but also complex carbs from certain fruits.
-
T. Colin Campbell was involved in the discovery of a chemical later called dioxin. So I highly doubt he's a "bad" scientist. He authored hundreds of scientific papers, helped shape the American Institute for Cancer research. Those credentials are convincing enough for me.
-
Some research? Go onto Amazon books and check the reviews. 4 1/2 stars is the rating average from 1,962 reviews. T. Colin Campbell has a PH.D. Check his credentials. He's a nutritional biochemist. A scientist.
-
Yes you do lose weight with the Atkins diet because you are consuming a small amount of calories. Unfortunately that doesn't make it healthy.
-
T. Colin Campbell is actually a nutritional biochemist.
