I like abs but I like beer better. And I like rum most of all. That's why I'm here. :) Welcome, EJ!

Yep. I haven't regained my lost weight (which is actually 65lbs despite my mfp ticker) yet but I'm sure I will at some point. I'm very much sick of being hungry, tired, miserable, and completely preoccupied with what I'm eating and what exercise I need to do on any given day. It's been 5 years, I'm reasonably sure my…

Um, yeah, double those prices (except for the eggs - they're $2/dozen) and you'll be close to what they are here.

Honestly, for me, at this point it's a toss-up. I've gone from 220ish to 155ish but it's taken 5 years. I realize I'm not old by any means but I wonder if my age has something to do with it. I never felt bad when I was 220 and 24 years old - no aches, pains, energy issues, or health issues. I just didn't like the way I…

1. At least 60 (probably a little more since I didn't weigh myself the first time until I'd been counting calories for two weeks - not sure why I did that) 2. 4 years total if you include a 2 year maintenance pause for pregnancy and new motherhood during which my actual weight only fluctuated about 5 pounds 3. 1200-1400…

Seafood (and, I guess, lakefood too). All of it. If it lived in the water I don't even want to be at the same table as someone eating it. But I wish I liked it because chicken gets fairly boring after a while. Also avocado because everyone seems to get so excited about them. I wish I could join in the party, lol!

Crap, I ate them in Mexico. They're gone. You've been chasing ghosts. Sorry about that!

Ink or no ink - I judge everyone equally.

This is basically what I stuck to. For me it was 1500 first tri, 1600-1700 second tri, and 1800 third tri. I went a week past due, gained 18 lbs total, and was back to pre-preg weight and clothes (meaning I could put them on - they didn't necessarily look right because my actual body-shape did not "bounce right back" lol)…

No, I wouldn't take it. But, I might say yes if you were giving my family the money and not me.

I don't use my Keurig anymore because I drink waaay to much coffee for it to keep up (plus the reservoir started leaking), but when I used it my favorites were Timothy's Winter Carnival and Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice.

Pumpkin Swirl Cheesecakes. I've made these and they're really really yummy. http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/09/pumpkin-swirl-cheesecake-yogurt.html

I'd be happy with it. I haven't had a raise since the beginning of 2010. Then again I've never had paid time off, sick days, vacation, health insurance, or any other kind of benefit so I'm really not surprised.

I was a 38D (ish) at my heaviest, which was somewhere around 220. By 170 my band size was down to 34 but my bust size hadn't changed as much so I was a 34DDD/F (by measurement - I never actually bought a bra this size because I didn't have the money to pay for one). Now at 158 my bust measurement seems to be the only one…

By sending my little Goober off to a babysitter and drinking large amounts of rum. Seriously.

A father with an upper middle class lifestyle should WANT his children to have at least the same level of lifestyle even if it means temporarily elevating the life of their mother. Socioeconomic status in childhood has a significant effect on education success (in fact, it is the most important factor of academic…

I've never made a good/correct decision in my life, it would seem, so I would tell my younger self to always do the exact opposite of what I want or what seems right. I would love to see how things would be different.

Honestly, I just don't. When my husband was here I'd have him put our son to bed a few nights a week so I could have time to workout then. But now that he's gone I just can't seem to carve it out regularly. I absolutely NEED at least 7 hours of sleep a night so I can't wake up any earlier than I do now. I work full time…

Ice cream. :)

Since muscle definition =/= "bulky," and "bulky" and "more masculine" are used as two separate descriptors, I don't see how that's a contradicting statement. I don't think you two are even talking about the same thing.

What brand/model is it?

Being bored is a state of mind more than a state of body. It's possible to work really hard and still be bored. It doesn't matter how easy or difficult, or how fast or slow paced, for me weight lifting is still boring (as is cardio or running or zumba or whatever). It doesn't mean I'm not going to do it, it just means I'm…

I was always told to expect to gain a pound per day on a cruise. But, I've managed to take several and mostly maintain or only gain 1-2lbs. It's the drinks rather than the food that does me in. I'm a bit of a picky eater so I don't get as excited over the meals as some people do. Most cruises have healthy items on their…

"You just have to drink through that" [the sleepy feeling you sometimes get after the first drink or two]. Gotta love my mama! :drinker:

I always bring cut-out jello shots. :drinker:

Same here.

I've been stuck since April 9th. :grumble: I lost the first 40 lbs back in 2009 and never had even one week where I didn't lose *something.* (I had to stop because I got knocked up - darn kid!) I'm not sure exactly what's going on this time, but man is it ever frustrating!

It does seem a little soon right now, but only you know if you're forcing a marriage or doing what you'd do anyway. Only you know if the relationship is right. You said he's being deployed next year, so if you're going to go through with it I'd wait until the last minute so that you can get a little more relationship time…
