Currently driving a small 150cc BigBoy scooter, it's great fun and an economical way of getting to work. My dream bike atm is the 650 v-strom Suzuki. Saving up for that one...

Yay! So if I lay and watch tv for 2 hours before bed time, and then sleep an additional 6 hours, I'm golden? Bring on the buttery popcorn and movie night ya'll! :)

I started with a goal of 50 pounds to lose at the start of Jan, now have another 35-40 to go. Feel free to add :)

South African here as well! Love our country, but would honestly like to explore the world as well :)

Fellow scifi fan here! Love me some BSG; SG1; SGA; Firefly; Eureka; GoT; etc, etc... Love Ender's Game, Dune Series, Anything by S. King, and well almost any book that most 17 year old girls have never heard of ;) Ooh and comics... DC, Marvel, anything ;) Just not much of a gamer - don't have the time... Anyone can feel…

Great thread! I try to net at 1500 per day, as such I usually eat between 2000 and 2200 per day. Some days more, some days less, depending on exercise and hunger...

Here in South Africa I'd estimate it's 40% healthy weight, 40% overweight/obese and 20% severely underweight/malnourished - the last is probably the saddest to witness - people ravished by TB/AIDS with bodyfat percentage at between 1-5% and almost no muscle anywhere...

In a year I'd love to look good in a bikini, run a 10km without hassle, fit into South African size 8 or 10 clothes :D

Hi there, I'm 27, log daily, and try to NET between 1200 and 1600 daily (as such my actual calories tend to be between 1500 and 2300 depending on the amount of exercise I did that day) Feel free to add me, just a word of warning, I'm not a "clean" eater, and realize my macros need some work ;)

Also INTJ - although judging won out by all of 1% over perceiving. Have never gotten anything other than INTJ on these things...

Is my math right that that was 9 pounds for the year? That's an astonishing job of toning and firming up for 9 pounds - looks more like 30 pounds! Great work and dedication!!!

I'm so sorry you have to deal with this! It's usually the ones we care for the most that can hurt us the deepest! I moved in with my parents beginning of this year, after finishing at university, and I've been very happy with their support! None of us eats clean, but they have fully supported me when I'd make me a…

Definitely stairs - we have 6 floors in the hospital where I work, and I try to go up to the 6th floor at least 3 times per day (I work on ground floor). Other than that, I like to do some basic stretches at my desk, will go for long walks during lunch break, and have been seen to do some sit ups and pushups on the mats we…

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster week for me. Been exceptionally busy at work! I've also officially started going to the gym - focusing on circuit atm. Unfortunately the scale has been a right enemy this week, on my official weigh in at work for our own Biggest Loser challenge there, the scale showed a 2kg gain (cry!!!).…

Stunning transformation!

Are you doing 30DS daily? If you are, I would suggest 30 minutes on the bike along with the 20 mins 30DS, should be sufficient. The calories prescribed by your Doc - is that net or gross? If you are doing 30DS along with biking, I would definitely think that that should be your minimum Net calories - ie, eat back your…

Had lost 6 pounds by last week, but gained 4 pounds this week :( I freaken hate TOM!
-
Haha, an average sized housecat ;) But according to the scale this morning I've gained back an ostrich egg - blaming it on TOM! Still want to lose a leg ;)
-
I'm in, usually average out at between 600 and 800 a day, am sure I can push it to 1000 tomorrow ;) Will send friend request!

I'm sure there'll be a lot more informed posts coming in the next few minutes, but I feel as long as your body can handle it - ie you don't feel bloated or nauseas while exercising, you can eat whenever you want. I mostly exercise in the early mornings before work, and have no problem eating breakfast half an hour before…

Thanks everyone! I have been doing crunches and most of the upper body exercises, will incorporate weighted sit ups, deltoid raises and planks. I think it is my grip that's the main issue - and I feel it more in my elbows than shoulders. O, and I've been struggling with them with bent knees, so won't even attempt straight…

I'm 5'6" and started on MFP weighing 185 pounds - wore size 16 RSA/12 US jeans. 6 weeks later I weigh 174 pounds and am wearing South African size 14 jeans/US size 10 (I'm not 100 percent sure about the US sizes, but think we're the same as UK, so going according to those)

I'm lucky- have never suffered from insomnia. I need 5 hours of sleep - otherwise I'm a complete grouch, do well with 6 hours, and am happy when I get 7 but can't really sleep more than that - my internal clock wakes me after 7 hours, every single time! I'd say I average 6 hours a day most weeks...

SW - 78.9 Kg Goal - honestly will be happy with any loss - starting heavy weight lifting this week, so realize that the Kg's loss may slow down a bit, but will be keeping a close eye on my measurements!

BIG congrats girl! What a great loss! And you're right the best reward is the new, healthier you! Remain such an inspiration! :D
