I think it depends on the current relationship you have with your hubby. If your marriage is already on the rocks, separating won't help. You only avoid the problem. I have been married for 24 years. My husband goes to Alaska for 4 months every year during the summer. Our marriage is solid and the separation is not a…

Hi and welcome. I'm 50 and have been on this site since December. I want to lose another 30 pounds too and I know this will take me another year as slow as I'm losing weight. Not worried about it though. This site is great in keeping me honest and on track. I'll be sending you a friend request and hope you accept.

Try low carb yoghurt with some berries in it. Also some of the Atkins Endulge Bars tase really good. Recently tried the Peanutbutter cups. Only 80 cal. per cup and worth every calorie!! Good Luck.

It's best not to cheat on low carb. You can increase your carb level gradually after the first 2 weeks, but if you blow it and cheat, it will take you another 2 days to start losing weight again. It's just not worth it to me and the weight loss will be much slower. Increase your exercise to you can eat more carbs. That's…

I'm thinking about doing a cheat day once a month if my weigh in was good. Not pigging out, just eat what I have been craving the most.

Hi I'm from Louisiana also. Joined in December and so far so good. It takes a little bit of getting used to loggin in all your food, weighing, measuring, etc, but it's worth it.It keeps me accountable and on track. I follow a low carb diet, so I usually only count the carbs and don't worry about the calories. So this has…

Good Luck everyone. This diet is not for me. Too involved for me. Don't have time to do all that cooking and preparing of food, drinks, etc. Would be interested to see how you all are doing by week 3...

Hi I'm 50 and recently started this program. I must say the food diary is super easy and I actually enjoy logging the food.I never knew exactly how many calories I put in my body all day long. I follow a low cal diet, so I am more focused on counting carbs than calories. I do want to stick to a certain calorie number also…
