Sugar. i had no idea just how much sugar I was eating. Even in things I thought at the time were healthy there was so much sugar.

I think the 5000 calories a day seems legit. but holy cow ! I don't know how the guy eats that much, looking over his daily food intake that's a whole lotta food. Guy must always be eating

That's 2lbs a week, which is pretty amazing! Looking at the number to lose makes it seem slower than it actually is. Maybe you could try focusing on amount lost as oppose to thinking how much you have to lose. OR think of it as it's 26 more pounds than you lost last year (I assume). Either way you're doing awesome! I buy two bags of candy when I shop alone. One for everyone in the house to share, and one I hid in a drawer that's just mine. I eat only a little of the shared bag but demolish my hidden bag. That way my husband doesn't know just how much candy I actually eat. It makes me so ashamed

Not having any idea of what correct portions sizes were. I would eat 6 cookies without realizing that 1 or 2 was the correct number to eat. Years of doing this made fat. I had no idea how I much I was actually eating.

I like sweets when I'm stoned which caused a big problem with my waist line. I've recently started making crystal light Popsicles and that REALLY helps. I weigh myself everyday. I find this keeps me on track better than not. But the only weight I log is from Sunday, my weigh-in day.

I drink fairly often, usually 2 or 3 nights a week and I'll have 7 or 8 shots of vodka. I have the same kind of problems with my scale. I''ll weigh myself see a number, get excited, go grab my husband, Weigh myself not even a minute later and the number will be completely different. I make a fruit smoothie in the morning and add 1/2c of oats. It makes me feel fuller longer. Totally works for me. All the benefits none of the flavor.

I don't drink it just because I can't stand the taste of artificial sweeteners. Nothing against them other than that. No Diet Dr. Pepper you do NOT taste like regular Dr. Pepper. So I just stick with good old water, maybe some Mio if I want something flavorful
