I don't have any local professional sports teams... makes my life easy and boring.

I take it back.... my boyfriend is a judgmental *kitten*... (We're having a stupid argument over a stupid topic his friends brought up and I'm really pissed at him right now)
-
Supportive. Resistant at first, but we're each doing our own thing. Different things work for different people and he has a tendency to skip the workouts and follow fads. I don't want a quick weight loss, I want a lasting one. I think he'd be less supportive but he's learned over the years that I can make really delicious…

The only reason I track my weight as often as I do is to monitor my water retention (I know it's an improper science but it's the only thing I've got) I have a disorder which can cause edema, especially in my legs, and I like seeing how diet and exercise helps with the water retention along with the medication. I'm not…

@Sara, Great smile!

^^^This is the number one reason I like MFP above other calorie trackers I've tried. I've gained a lot of positive, motivational friends and we push each other. Cheer successes, hug when needed, and kick butt when needed. ;) EDIT: I've also gotten a lot of my close friends and family to join and there's something different…

    Whenever anyone asks me anything I grab my smartphone and yell "TO THE GOOGLE!!" :glasses:

Welcome and go get em!

Actually, if you search, you'll see that MFP does count those activities in exercise. Type in "walking" and then try "cleaning". It also has things like food prep and I've heard a few people mention sex is in there too. BTW, you're not going to like the majority of arguments this post starts up again so I'd suggest reading…

My long term partner was a little suspicious of my plan at first. I didn't feel like going into a lengthy explanation of my plan and goals, because I know things will change as I progress. I'm making a huge life change. I don't need to be a size 0 but I do need to be healthy. So I went to the store, bought healthy items,…

Could be a lump of fat which is called a lipoma. I find them all the time doing ultrasounds.

I run into objects and trip on flat ground. I tell people I'm just testing the laws of physics and reality... :blushing: Really I think my spatial awareness just sucks

Thanks :flowerforyou:

Coughing, sneezing, and huge yawns are the worst!!!

I usually do cardio on the the treadmill and elliptical with a rotation of weights for arms or legs (depending on day) with a few situps. I know for dang sure I'm not doing the upper body weights or situps. Biggest symptom: pain. I also have a nice bruise that looks like a scuff mark where her shoe hit me. I love that the…

Actually, I'm a huge fan of the banana ones...

My current almost hubby would have been pretty mad. LOL Thank you for the compliment. :blushing:

 I have found myself staring at vending machines too... I now know which facilities I visit have them. Same thing, I just look at them. I've also stopped getting gas at the HUGE gas stations. You know, the ones that double as the restaurant, mechanic, post office, and gun store... I avoid those like the plague...…

I was too worried if I said down to eat the guy would come by saying something like "Did you find Bob?" :blushing:
-
Thank you. Interestingly enough, I am a published writer. (I'm actually trying to figure out how to work the episode into a piece I'm working on) And, the acting came natural. I've been getting myself out of embarrassing, sticky situations for years.

Pssst... Secretly... Me too...

Thank you... I try to make random strangers wet themselves at least twice a day... Keeps us all humble. No, seriously, sorry about that :flowerforyou: PS: How many people thought it was going to be a fart story?
-
I do too. The really bad part about the story... I don't know any Bobs... it was just the first name that popped out. Odd considering my long time boyfriend is Mike...
-
Welcome. I figured we've probably all been there a time or two. I once watched one friend tackle another friend for a Snickers bar... now I understand.

Not sure it was so covered in sauce and cheese... And, thank you for the kind replies. They say mind over matter, but I think my stomach takes the lead sometimes. :blushing:

If it seems to good to be true, I always double check the serving size. A lot of times they trick you with that. If it still seems good, then go for it. I usually make a taco salad at home when I'm craving Mexican and dieting. If you don't go crazy with the cheese, sour cream, and salt you can make it pretty healthy.

5'1" and 3/4... On a journey to lose 77lbs. I tell anyone who quotes the BMI scale at me to bite my *kitten*. Even when I worked out five days a week and was on a super strict diet, my lowest weight was 142 which would still have me at obese. :grumble: Thankfully, my family doctor doesn't believe in judging…
