Sometimes the life change is too much and having a cheat day helps relieve some of the guilt with going back to those bad habits. So, in a way, it is like cheating with a hooker at a hotel once a week. After awhile, once you've adjusted to the change, you don't need or want a cheat day. It's just something to help people…

Cheers! I've never really cared for Starbucks. Their coffee is always bitter and exceptionally overpriced. I find I can get a better coffee for lower cost with fewer calories at other locations. (Yes, some of them chains) There used to be an amazing family run coffee shop here. You would order your coffee, they'd grind the…

I'm in charge of deviled eggs. Half regular Half spicy for my dad (I add hot sauce and habanero pepper, garnish with thin slice of the pepper) My parents will probably have a healthy meal because we're all health conscious. I dread to think of what the in-laws will be serving. Probably things dripping in butter, oil, and…

Health and happiness are my MAIN concerns. That being said, I did buy an amazing string bikini a few years ago and my goal is to live in that all summer next year!! So, I'd be lying if I said it had nothing to do with wanting to feel hot.

The only time I've ever gone "Hmmm" was the joke post about swallowing too much "man juice" and going over calorie last night. It was good for a laugh until it was removed. I'm with MizTerry... Post those pics guys.... include those biceps, I'm a gun lover.

I tell him I know what I'm doing and I point out the positive changes. But I'll be honest and admit there I times when I give him the death look and grit out "Shut up, just shut up." It's code for "You're about to push the red button and detonate my temper." He backs off then, but he's starting to learn. I let him do his…

Boyfriend bought a case of an assorted beer in November... Most of it is still sitting in our dining room. I've started throwing it out a beer at a time (It's really nasty stuff) so he doesn't notice. He always leaves 3-4 beers in the fridge to grow legs for months and months and then buys a new case of beer for a party…

Give me the dark beers!!! I'm one of the few and proud to hate Bud and all its brethren... REAL BEER!! Other than that, I'll drink some Hard Ciders like Magners that have nothing added and aren't too bad on calories. But I do try to limit myself to one or maybe two and it's usually only one night a week if that…

Oh and my juice recipe is: Kale, Romaine, cucumber, lemon, ginger, carrot, yellow squash, and red apple, sometimes a couple grape tomatoes if I have them. I've also been known to throw zucchini in from time to time... One of my recent juices... (This one had a little more apple than I usually use because the apples were…

I probably shouldn't weigh in on this but I will. My boyfriend watched this documentary and got all worked up. He does this after every documentary he watches. And then I point out who paid for it, what information did they purposely leave out, blah blah blah. But, he would not let this one go, so I made him a deal. If he…

I had the surgery 11 years ago. Best decision of my life! No back pain, the curvature of my neck and shoulders mostly corrected itself, easier to find bras, I don't have guys falling over themselves to get close to my rack. And, I can go without a bra if I want. No way would I ever wear two.
