  • I'm not sure I'm making progress at all....I'm actually GAINING weight! I'm determined to not be tied to the scale, so I keep plugging. Sure hope so etching is changing! I will measure on day 10.... :)
  • Done! I do much better after I warm up now. I'm starting to not panic during jup rope.
  • This is me to. I've been ong really well for two months, and now I have stalled. I am eating very cleanly, tried upping my calories a bit...didn't help. So added more exercise...currently STUCK. At least we are not gaining! I'm hoping that scale will move again soon!
  • I weigh everyday. My weight will fluctuate by .25-.5 and go up a little before it goes down. My chart is DEFINITELY not a straight line!
  • I'm doing 30 ds and i I also run a little. I am not in great shape, so it helps stretch me back out.
  • 1. JUMP ROPE! That first set of cardio is always the killer. I don't know why but I find it painstaking to get through that jump rope. (perhaps I'm just to heavy for jumping!) 2. push ups -- I can do the modified ones fine, but the regular ones I can not get through. 3. bicycle crunches.
  • Agreed. I don't "dread" it as much as I did in the beginning, and I'm finding that I know L1 well enough that I can "see the end of the tunnel". Now, when we get to L2.....
  • I weigh myself everyday. It's been part of my daily routine forever, so I didn't change that. Even though I have had good success over the past 65 days, the four days on 30ds are not particularly better (in fact, I'm at a small plateau right now...) I will measure myself on day 10. I am curious! I thought perhaps once at…
  • L1D4 -- check. And collapse. :-)
  • First of all, just be warned-- people get really heated on this subject for some reason. There are many, many posts on it! In my case, 1200 is absolutely appropriate. I have had my fat % and my BMR checked and my daily calorie intake for NOT LOSING weight is about 1570. So, if I want to lose a reasonable amount…
  • haven't noticed the hungry thing-- but I have been needing TONS of water!
  • D3L1 -- tonight my daughters joined me. We all used soup cans instead of weights. I can finally make it through all of the easy L1. The jumping jacks still make me groan, and I'm doing modified push ups-- but I'm making it through. Maybe round two I'll be able to pick it up a notch! Also (LOL) we play it on my xbox…
  • Are you and you SO doing any per marriage classes? ( like through the city or church?) It might be a way to get out together and focus on something positive and happy. :) My DH and I took one and enjoyed the time together so much, we ok another. We've been married12 years now...so it's been a while!
  • I don't always log all my water, zero calorie drinks, and zero calorie condiments (hot sauce) I'm still new, so probably still a little excessive! I do log supplements, but not medicine. I like to see now my total nutrition looks.
  • I'm a little sensitive to carbs, mainly they make me retain water-- no matter how much water I drink. So I'm learning to cut back. I find little switches help. I love sandwiches, but now I have them on lettuce instead of bread. I use coconut or other lower carb milk in my oats I switched to lower carb fruits all carbs are…
  • Had to stay up late-- but got it in before midnight. :-) Better today, but still torture. :-P
  • I think I'm the shortest! Here goes... Height: 5'0" (60 inches) Weight : 140.8 Waist 34 Hips 39 Under bust 32 Chest 38 Thigh 20.5 Calve 14 Neck 13 Upper arm 14 Lower arm 9 Here are my measurements from a few weeks ago-- I'll update and I'll try to take some photos tomorrow.
  • If you have Xbox, you can download it by parts from amazon. Also a lot of it is on YouTube.

  • Don't have anyhandweights yet, so I used soup cans. Kicked my tail.
  • ^^THIS^^ I am a 47 year old, 5'0" woman. Thanks to posts like your OP, I have people frequently send me notes asking why I am eating "too few calories" when I eat even around 1200. I am not a lifter. I am not a long distance runner. 5 pounds on my size frame is a dress size. And YES, for me between 1100-1200 calories is…
  • Sw: 154 CW:141 Goal weight (for March): 135 (6 pounds)
  • In 2 months I have lost 12 pounds, which is 2 pant sizes for me. (From a 12 to an 8). I am very short ( only 5'0")... But also much older. Good luck with your journey!
  • Nay. Honestly, just learn to like veggies. Raw spinach is actually pretty wonderful in salads ( or sautéed in a little Pam with an egg in the morning). No linger to cook....tons less calories, all the fiber. Why liquefy it?
  • The best! That's where it really counts.
  • Since I had my (now 10) daughter, I haven't been able to button my wool coat. I was always THAT fat person, holding the fronts together. Many times my sweet husband has asked me, "would you like a new coat" No! I wanted the one I have to fit. It's in poor shape, but it was a pride thing here. Yesterday it was cold, and the…
  • Really fantastic success! Amazing photos!
  • Goal is 125 for now. Enough to get my into healthy bmi. Started at 154 on January 1, currently at 140.
  • Second for striiv, I like the competition.
  • Resisted chocolate, even though I'm a teacher! AND..... For the first time today someone who didn't know I was dieting told me I looked like I lost weight. :)
  • Second on the avocados. They also provide healthy fats that your body needs on a low fat diet.
