Once a week on Tuesday morning. Why Tuesday, 01 Jan 13 was on a Tuesday! Just my nightshirt and glasses or like mggriso, I wouldn't be able to read the number on the scale!

I'm in the 1/2 Century Club, too. Started her earlier this year and have lost 34 lbs. I have so much more energy and loose clothes are so much better than tight ones. Feel free to add me.

We were on family vacation last week and went horseback riding. The first hurdle was swinging my rear end over the horse's rear end. The whole time I was apologizing to Smokey for the burden he had to bear...me! Next summer will be a different story for you and I.

AWESOME!! Your smile says it all! Fantastic job.

I agree on the Buffalitos. Steer clear of the Flatbreads. They sound lo-cal but are in the 800 - 1000 cal range.

W-O-W...I went with the iPhone 4 when I upgraded last Sept. through Sprint because it was FREE. I don't download a ton of stuff but I do use my phone for web searches, email and games. I'm all about lower cost vs. speed.

You look him straight in the eye and say, "Yes, I know I'm overweight but I'm working hard to become a healthier me. It's you I feel sorry for you. There is no known cure for ignorance".

Hello Kate. I'm 52, have been a member since January and find support to be a vital part of this journey. Please feel free to add me.

I am thankful for your post. We have the same mentality. I have lost and gained the same 80 pounds a few times now. Everytime swearing, "I'LL NEVER GET TO THAT WEIGHT AGAIN". I agree that a HUGE part of weight loss is mentality and attitude. I think we have been stuck in the fat girl mentality so long that we don't feel as…

I have the same thing with my left hip when I do leg lifts. In my case, my doctor told me if I was not having any pain, it was nothing to worry about. I would suggest you see a doctor for confirmation though.

Healthy LIfe also has 80 calorie hamburger and hot dog buns.

Looks delish! I also love sweet potoates and am always looking for new ways to incorporate them. Thanks for sharing!

You have a beautiful smile. The smile in your second pic looks more genuine though. And rightfully so!

When I was on Weight Watchers, we used this type of trick to get past a plateau. Just pig out for a few days then go back to your lifestyle change regimen. It seems to trick your body into losing weight again.

No, do not like olives at all. I pick them off of pizza and out of salads or anything else I see them lurking in or on.

Thank you for the education. I thought that "V" in NSV stood for victory but hadn't figured out the rest. I work in a world of acronyms but was stumped by a few I would see on these posts.

You can add me. I joined 45 days and 20lbs ago! Having 100 lbs to lose, I figured the first 20 would drop fairly quickly and that has held true. I know it will slow down as I continue and that's why I would like to see us help each other stay motivated!

Pringles Baked Wheat Stix - Jalapeno flavor is my favorite. 90 Calories per pack

You can try the old BRAT diet for nausea - Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast. I agree with the previous post, though. Cure your illness, then worry about nutrition.

I am going to lose 100 lbs. - well, 88.5 now because I've dropped 11.5 since joing MFP! I'm with you all the way!

Absolutely. In fact, my now 15 year old daughter, was a regular with me at the gym when she was 13. As long as she doesn't start obsessing about working out or freak out over every morsel she puts in her mouth, indicating a possible eating disorder, I see nothing wrong with starting healthy habits. If he protests too much,…

Thank you to all of your wonderful suggestions for help with my weekend weaknesses. I cleared out the cupboards and went to the store where I stocked up on colorful, crunchy veggies, oranges and grapefruits. I also ended up with a bag of frozen mixed berries that tasted great and was much more affordable than buying…

Need help for the weekend! I stick to my guns during the week but historically, weekends are my weakness. At work , I have no tempting foods, only healthy snacks. Not so true at home. This first weekend is going to be a HUGE test for me. Any ideas to keep me on the right path?

This my second day on MFP. I need to lose 100 lbs. I tried WW 3 or 4 times. In one of those attempts, I managed to lose 75 lbs but that was mainly through starvation, not really following the program. Guess what, I gained most of it back. MFP appeals to me because the food tracking is so easy. NO foods are off limits but…
