I don't really see why not. Although maybe I'm just used to it -- the outer road of the cemetery that circles the property is called "Walkers Path". Really, people take their dogs on walks there! And you know those dogs are up to...well, something else. I love cemeteries and their history. I just make sure to steer clear…

Usually in a large cemetery in town -- it's very popular for walkers/runners. I like it because it has a nice mix of small hills and flat roads, a few ponds on the property, lots of flowering bushes, and plenty of big trees for shade. I also like it because there are so many criss-crossing roads, I can change my route to…

OK, I'm curious. I'm 5'6" Yes, I am embarrassed by the general disarray of the room behind me...and the mirror! :P But my phone case makes up for it!

I'd have a bigger dinner. Looking at your diary right now, apparently dinner is going to be only 250 calories?
-
Not really -- I think 5'7" would be perfect for a girl, or, cute and tiny like 5'1. I'm 5'6" lol. I don't reallllly have a problem with it though.

Spoonful of peanut butter, yummmm.

He did hide them. In his belly :)

I always take my HRM calorie burn and multiply it by .75, and use that as my burn. I figure that 25% cut will take care of most inconsistencies that may arise. It's worked fine for me so far, and it's easier than working out that my BMR equates to roughly 56 calories per hour which is .933 calories per minute so in that 42…

Not all of them.

Umm, I'm definitely still feeling them even though I spread them throughout the day, so I think we're OK :P

I wish! There's one I really want to do mid-August but I already have a vacation planned that weekend. It's called "Run for your lives!" and it's a 5k/obstacle course that has zombies chase you. (Can you sense a theme in me?) I'd like to sign up for the Color Run but they haven't announced the dates around here yet :(

You can add me if you want to take a peek at my diary. I've been a vegetarian for a few years now, although I'm not focused on going mostly "plant based" -- I love my pasta/bread too much -- but a lot of my meals come in between 300-400 calories. It's nothing "interesting" but feel free to add me if you want a few ideas.

O/T but the profile pic makes you look like a reallllly long mermaid. And back on topic -- strength training is the way to go if you want to lose your jiggle. Better yet, you can eat lots and not follow silly rules that aren't sustainable in the long term of real life.

That's great! I'd be heartbroken if my kitty got lost. So happy for you :)

Congrats! That's fantastic. I'm so happy for you :)

I like this idea! It's a good way to remember to get them in.

I believe you're the moron if you choose to take one sentence out of context, completely ignoring the healthier options I gave him right beforehand. Regardless, eating a piece of cake is hardly a bad piece of advice for someone who wants to lose weight in a sustainable manner. We shouldn't aim for complete restriction; we…

I would trust the HRM more than Runkeeper or MFP, as it's monitoring your heart rate continuously rather than merely estimating based on height/weight/time. That being said, nothing is 100% accurate. What kind of HRM do you have? I'd personally go with the lowest burn, and if I actually burnt more, that'd be bonus.

I have this hobby - geocaching - which is kinda like a scavenger hunt. We use a GPS to find "geocaches" that other people have hidden...they can be anywhere -- in the woods, on walking paths, in parking lots, etc. The point of the game is to try to find the geocache, and you want to do so without generally alerting the…

1100-1300 is WAY too little for a guy. You're setting yourself up for problems later. General recommendations say the *bare minimum* most women should eat is 1200, and for men it's about 1800. A quick Google search tells me that the BMR of a 21 y/o male at 6'2" and 285 pounds is just over 2300. BMR = the number of calories…

Definitely repeat a week! There's no shame in that. The point of this is to build up your stamina, but you can't do that if you burn out or have an asthma attack! Take your time, your body will thank you, as will your brain when you finally ARE ready to move on!

Done! And resting tomorrow ^^

Just a helix piercing. I got it done when I was 14. I don't really care for it now, but it doesn't bother me either...so it just stays.

Doneeeeeeee.

Awesome! I like this thread, as I was just working on making a blog post of my mini goals. I'm very "list oriented" and it's great motivation for me to remind myself of all the little things I can do, that I couldn't previously. So far they revolve around being able to jog/run for longer periods of time (I'm working on…
