Having read your post I just wondered if I should be logging these types of activities as well anyway? I lead a pretty busy life too so this is great advice because I can focus on those things on my rest days. Cheers!

You are so right- I haven't listed everything but I don't have dressings or anything on my salads just usually tomato, capsicum, cucumber and sprouts. If I were to have a protein shake I'd mix with water but do have milk on my cereal. Guess I have to be much more specific than I have been. I do sometimes find it hard to…

Oh my gosh I've been doing it so wrong! That might explain why I've been tired too. New plan: weigh everything and aim for 1200 calories after exercising! I must admit I'm scared to eat more as this seems to defy my natural instincts regarding weightloss but what do I know ha ha! Watch this space!! :D

Cool thanks for that. Yes you did interpret correctly. I guess I need to be more patient too - it took me a bit longer than a month to gain the weight so probably shouldn't expect to lose it that fast! Ha ha

Thank you everyone for your advice. I'm going to weigh things more accurately and consistently, and aim for 1200 calories a day THEN burn it all off through exercise! Cheers!!

Thanks for that I'll try to be more consistent with weighing. Yeah I think I ticked the wrong thing with the protein shake, I use 1 scoop which is 30g and then just kept ticking the same box. Maybe I need to double check.

Why is being under 1200 a bad thing? I thought that's what I was supposed to do in order to be calorie deficient and then lose weight?

Yes. Isn't this what I'm supposed to do? Am weighing most things- meat etc but just guessing veges, fruit etc.

Whoops didn't realise it was private- have changed the settings thanks. Yes, pretty much every day it says 'under my calories' but then tells me I should eat more!?!

I was interested to read this too as I am often under my calorie target - especially if I exercise. And to think of all the time I spent trying to cut back on my eating to find out it is counter-productive!
