Nope. Height and weight, and ta-da, here's your BMI. http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm In regards to your real issue, that is having too much flab, lifting will get you the results you are looking for. Are you doing that already?

How long have you been stalling? If it's less than 4 weeks, it's not really a plateau anyway. Weight loss is not linear, and sometimes it stalls for a few weeks and then, all the sudden, the weight just drops off. What helped me break through my one real plateau was to adjust my macros and change my exercise routine. That…

I'm snacky every now and then, but I think I can count the times I've been really hungry in the past six months on two hands (I eat around 1300 calories a day). I found that what works for me is shifting my meal times a little. I usually have breakfast around 10:30 (I get up around 7:45 and get to work at 9, and I am…

Don't you think you're overdoing it a little? Besides, you are already at the low end of healthy weight for your height. Both of those things combined could be an explanation for feeling exhausted. Maybe take it easy for a while?

What exactly do you mean by "seeing results"? On the scale? The way your body looks? The way your clothes fit? If you are referring to seeing weight loss, it could be that you thinkyou are within your calories but that you are, in fact, eating more than you think. Opening your diary would be a great start so we can look at…

WW worked for me for my first 30lbs. Then I just stopped losing weight, and it was not until I joined MFP and looked at my macros that my weight started dropping again. I think WW works well for people who have a lot to lose, but when it comes to the last 10/20/30lbs, it's just not accurate enough anymore.

Well, homeopathy itself is not bogus, but drops that promise weight loss definitely are.

A quick Google search came up with a bunch of results: vitamins, raspberry essence, some other herbal supplements ... save your money. Watch what you eat and you'll succeed. There's no magic weight loss pill (or drop in this case).

You mean water?

5.7 and 135 is within the normal BMI range, but, as rabbit pointed out, on the lower side. For some reason, some people think that they will look and feel better if they only got to the "almost underweight" range. Chances are though that once they get there, they will still feel fat until they start lifting and seeing…

I recommended it to two friends and a co-worker. Hasn't been long enough yet to see if they will stick with it though.

At your height, you are already at a healthy weight with 135/138. How much do you want to lose? If it's not that much, 0.5 lbs/week is more realistic and sustainable. But maybe toning would be a better idea if you are not happy with the way you look? Anyway, as far as macros go: It's different for everyone and depends on…

Klonopin for anxiety? Interesting. I used to be on Klonopin for about a year during my divorce, but I took it for panic attacks and only as necessary because it acts very fast but is also highly addictive. I didn't notice any weight gain though. Maybe you can switch to a different anxiety medication?

Can't say I've experienced that ... but since every body is different, it may as well be normal. I also don't know anything really about keto (I don't like the idea of restricting any macronutrient that much, I found it to be unsustainable), but it may well be a side effect of that, especially if you have been eating a…

oO That doctor ... did she win her credentials in a lottery or something?
-
Ahh, okay, thanks for the explanation re. the school run. You only want to lose 16 lbs, and you are not terribly overweight, so 0.5-1 lbs per week are healthy and sustainable. In the first week or so you may notice a quicker drop, but that's usually just water weight). I'd focus on maybe losing 1 lbs a week and enjoy the…

You are already at a healthy weight for your height anyway, so your weight will come off slower anyway. Plus you are only 20, your body really needs more calories than 1200. That's even too little for me, and I am only 5"3.
-
I use my scale, and it seems to be fairly accurate (compared to the caliper, measuring and looking at pics of other members with comparable stats). Once I am at my goal weight and do some more lifting (more as to compared to what I am doing now already), I may pay a bit more attention to BF%. Overall, right now I am happy…

Losing is hard, but maintaining is harder. That's why you shouldn't go on a diet but make a lifestyle change (as you pointed out). Only then will you be able to keep it off and not jeopardize all the hard work you will have put into it. Fingers crossed that this time you'll be able to keep it up! And remember: Start with…

I assume your wedding day won't be the first time your future husband will see you, right? He loves you the way you are, so just take steps towards a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy your wedding! Congrats, btw!

Healthy ingredients ... yes. Healthy eating/lifestyle: No.
-
Oh, DUH, sorry. I got my months screwed up!
-
Actually, the diary will tell you that "you are most likely not eating enough" if you go below 1200 calories. Under 1000 it won't let you close out the diary at all. OP, what are your stats?
-
Hi there, 20 lbs in 4 weeks would put you at 5 lbs a week. Even with your stats (which are very close to mine when I started out last year), it's really hard-pressed. Feasible, maybe, but not healthy and not sustainable. 1 lbs per week is a sustainable goal. In the beginning you'll notice a bigger loss, but that's most…

It may help if you opened your diary, that usually gives a few clues.

And if you can't get a date, try a prune! :D

Great mindset!

I like that one! Next time you see her, you may want to give her an inquisitive look, then kind of lightly shake your head and say "You know ... your comment the other day ... at least I can lose weight. I don't think there's gonna be an easy fix for "ugly"". Or something like that. I don't know if this is a thing you…

In what time frame? You will see gains at some point, but that's most likely water weight etc etc ... weight fluctuates, weight loss is not linear.
