  • No need to double the meat. Get a 12 inch uncut, then toss the top and fold the bottom over...you have double the meat and only carbs from a 6 inch. We are huge Subway fans, too. Kids love it as well and better for them than the other "fast food" alternatives on game nights.
  • I cannot comprehend your pain, but I hope you find faith in knowing he is still beside you in this journey and that you have seen the light...I know it is not comforting all the time, but I believe that finding him and the love you shared had a plan for you to get healthy and to touch many lives along the way and help them…
  • Feel free to add me - I am 5/7" and started at 243 on January 17th. As of this morning I am at 202.8 - been a couple ups and downs but overall consistently losing. I'm on 1,000 calories (which my Dr. approved) until I have about 25 lbs. left and then I need to go up to 1,200-1,300 as I won't have the extra, easy access to…
  • I just posted on this topic this morning. I was debating using the One that I just got or returning it and waiting for the Flex - which I think would be a perfect fit for me but not out til later this spring. Everyone seems to love it - I haven't heard of the Zero? Just the Ultra, the Zip and theOne...my sister in law uses…
  • Good point on the bracelet, I think that is one of the reasons they haven't gotten it out yet is working out how to calculate when it is on a somewhat sedentary limb. Their field tests they have been using are with pushing strollers - where you're definitely walking, but your arm is not moving. Which one do you have?
  • Sorry for your loss, we should never have to bury our children. But you are an inspiration, you look great and it made my day and gave me a boost to see your success!
  • I just posted a topic about this as well looking for feedback. It's easy to sync if you have a smart phone, just download the fitbit app and set up and account, then link it to MFP. Am sure it's similar doing it on the computer as well. My sister in law has the Ultra and my mother in law has the zip and they both love…
  • A lot of times the consultation is free, so what do you have to lose? I'd go get another opinion and if you don't get any answers from the medical field maybe check with a trainer/nutritionist and see if you need to change something on those ends. Good luck!
  • Sometimes it is a chore for me to share as well and keep involved, but it DOES make a difference for my, my willpower and mentally. Feel free to add me! Sarah
  • Add me - Im new "again" and ready to roll!
  • I've done a Hyponsis/Meditation from Itunes - didn't help or make a difference for me.
  • I've had a juicer and once the novelty runs out it was a pain to clean and not worth the effort. Last week I got a Vitamix blender and love it! Runs circles around the juicer - I don't even peel or seed my apples, just cut them in quarters. Add spinach to everything to make green smoothies and if I want it juicier I just…
  • I have the same problem! Fat clothes, normal clothes and my skinny clothes...in 3 closets! What I have tried to do is take the extreme away - I only keep clothes that are 1-2 sizes bigger or smaller than where I am now. I know I will fluctuate over time, but I'm never going to be down to the size I was when I got married,…
  • Would love to support you and get yours back as well! I have a lot to lose, too - like 80 lbs, so it will be a journey! If you know how to add people, please feel free to add me and we'll work together! (I'm not sure yet how to add!) Sarah
  • I am in the same boat - though more to lose than you! But been here, done that and now want to be held accountable! I'm not sure how to add, but if you add me, then that should work! Good luck! Sarah
  • Love to add you, I am new to the community area, too. And know support helps a ton...and accountability! And we have close to the same goals! Except I'm twice your age, lol!
  • I am new to the message board / adding friends arena on MFP. I have only been using the Ipod app, but find the community area is much more supportive...there are others out there like me! Would love to add you as a friend and help stay motivated if you like! Good luck!

  • I have to weigh myself daily to be accountable. I know based on daily changes it may fluctuate and even following my diet the scale may go up, but a week is too long for me. I am visual so I record it daily as I like to see the graph. And like you, just the little encouragement of showing the scale go down is incredibly…
  • Just starting to after a lifetime of yo yo dieting. I'm 44 and want to run a 5k with my son next spring. I've fluctuated between 140 when I got married 23 years ago and 240. Closer to the latter right now unfortunately! Would love to add you as a friend and keep updated and motivated!
