Been going for a little while now but all the previous friends I had seem to have quit 🤷 Looking for new people for motivation and inspiration - open diaries please as I find it incredibly useful and inspiring for meal choices to see what you guys are eating! 👍👍 Cheers from 🇬🇧🇬🇧

Hello all! How are you? Anyone else been struggling to get out and about exercise wise during lockdown in the UK? I'm a key worker who can fortunately work from home. But as we've become so much busier during all this, I'm finding it virtually impossible to get out the house weekdays at all. I'm really starting to miss the…

Hello everyone. I've read through this thread with fascination as I've been hearing a lot about IF and the supposed benefits. I have a couple of questions and observations that hopefully those using an IF method can help me with. Firstly, I probably did the 16/8 method most of my life as I was terrible at eating breakfast.…

Happy to support anyone who's serious about losing and is happy to share the good and the bad with an open diary and an honest heart. If this is you, feel free to add me

Hey all! At last I find a group similar to me! I used MFP 7 years ago to lose nearly 5 stone. I did couch to 5k but didn't enjoy running at all, although I was always impressed I could do it. However, over time, and due to some really bad life decisions, it's all gone back on and more unfortunately. So I'm at over 20st at…

I've had mine for a few weeks, not really been able to use it much what with lockdown and the fact that I can work from home and never been busier! But i do have a question. If it tracks your steps anyway, why would you start a walk as an exercise? Just trying to work out the pros and cons

You usually weight the raw ingredients. Think about a slice of toast for example. The slice of bread has around 90 calories in it. Toasting it doesn't change that, but what it does do it remove water from the slice of bread making it weigh less. So if you weighed the toast but used the bread figures, you'd be eating more…

Hello!! So I'm back! Based in Yorkshire and looking for folk on here to chat about ideas food wise and exercise wise I guess. It would also be pretty cool to just chat and b!tch and moan about life and lockdown too and have a bit of a laugh along the way. I've just bought an Apple watch so I'd like to get most use out of…

Happy to have you as a friend Nigel. After being in the same place a few years ago, I know it can be difficult hitting that plateu. I gave up and ended up back where I was which kills me now when I think of all the work I put in and how good I felt. I won't be letting it happen again. Anyway, I've sent you a request.…

Yep. We rescued our 10 year old tortoise shell fluff ball from a family that no longer wanted her. They had a young family and I think she was jealous and was biting the 3 year old. Needless to say the kids was probably ragging the cat too. My kids are older so don't do that kinda thing. She's ace!

Yeah, news feeds are down by the looks of it. Needless to say it'll sort itself out :)

No worries. Just remember though, the app is only a tool. You do have to change your habits. It's not hard to fail and it's not easy to win!

The ability to plan. The fact it helps you control your portion size and the fact it simply educates you on what is good for you and what is shite! Just by plugging your normal foods in you'll see that all the stuff you used to eat was rubbish. Take wraps for instance, marketed as a healthy alternative to a sandwich, but…

Feel free to add me! I could always use more support and inspiration

An open diary is simply a setting that allows your friends at least to see your diary. I think it's an essential part of the process as you need to learn what's good to eat and what's not. It also allows you to get ideas from what other people are eating and people can give you advice too. Hope this helps Andy W
