Amazing!!! And what prospective the potatoes give! Great job!

And I have to add this to: I had a really great trainer who really helped me in certain areas. But his idea of nutrition help was to read Eat this and Not that...or whatever that book is. If I had researched it out, and actually worked with a trainer who knew more about nutrition, I maybe wouldn't have taken the step and…

I've personally gotten more out of the program than portion control. But I can't speak for others. It's been a great guide to helping me completely shift my entire way of not just eating, but meal planning and prepping. And, it's been a easy to follow guide for my fiance as well. Not to mention some great workout DVDs.…

I am! I was down 20 lbs after round one, I feel AMAZING and quit drinking caffeine daily after week one. (Not because I HATE caffeine but I only drank it because I needed it and I now have so much energy I don't need it). The first workout I could barely do and then I couldn't sit without help for three days. Now, I'm on…

Peanut butter isn't in the same category of chicken breast. Peanut butter is in the same category as nut butters and oils. If you follow this plan strictly, you only get so many teaspoons of nut butters and oils a day. It depends on your calorie count. ETA: This is a great example of what I was doing versus what I do now.…

I love the workouts too! The first day I didn't know if I'd make it through the warm up, and I couldn't sit properly for three days after that first workout. I completed Round 1, learned how badly portioned and unbalanced my meals were (even if I was eating in a deficit). The result for me has been a massive increase in…

My sister swears by Armour but it became difficult to find so she switched to synthroid. She continued having issues and was finally diagnosed correctly with hashimoto disease. I am on 175 of synthroid. What sucks about thyroid issue is that it can take years to get your meds adjusted out correctly. Also, I test every…

Well good. Finding humor is important in life...where ever you find it! To all you cauliflower rice lovers: do you ever prep ahead and freeze? I typically prep as much as I can ahead of time and wonder how it would hold up if I was to freeze it.

+1 I guess to make some folks happy we need to call it: cauliflower I chopped into rice size? :) Off topic: Super cute pup in your profile pic!

Well hey that works for you. But my calling thinly sliced/chopped cauliflower rice isn't the HUGE issue people make it out to be. I think my world will go just fine if I call it that. And you know what, so will yours! I promise! I mean people call sweet in low a sugar substitute, but it's not sugar. People call tofu a meat…

Bump or In or whatever because of all these yummy recipes! I love cauliflower! On another note, I'm pretty blown away as to why people care so much about what people call their food. I promise your life will go on just fine if people call it cauliflower rice...the world will not cease to exist!

I'm on W1D3. Feel free to add me! Good luck!

I drink at least a gallon a day if not more. It is pretty much the only thing I drink and I drink all day long. I don't track it because I know when I'm not getting enough by how I feel.
-
This has been extremely inspiring. And I know I'm just on W1D3 BUT, this thread had helped motivate me a lot and giving me such great insight that it's made it easier! If I can do this so can you!
-
I love this one!
-
Thanks for this link. I did W1D2 last night and I run slower than I walk I feel like, but I was still trying to figure out my breathing.
-
Finished Day two if a C25K program yesterday. Never thought I'd be able to run that much at one time. Getting some initial weight off has for sure helped! I am on the road *hopefully* to being a runner :) ETA: Got told this am I'm looking great and asked how much weight I've lost. I'll take it!
-
Since I'm such a newbie please explain compression calf sleeves? I am trying to learn all this stuff! ETA: Well I used google! ha and I'll keep these in mind for sure. Hopefully I won't need them.

Yes, I am taking it super slow. I feel like I am running slower than I'm walking, but that heart rate is up. Thanks for the advice guys!
-
Good luck on the shoes!

Grilled shrimp tacos Roasted Peppers Back Beans Yummy!
-
Black beans....I could eat them daily.
-
Yes I feel like I am running slower than when I'm walking so glad to know that's okay! (but the heart rate is for sure up more when I'm running even if I do feel slower)

I posted a Heavy runner thread last week and got some AMAZING tips and advice. Feel free to send me a friend request and I'll add you and you can go to it from my page. I have around 100 lbs to lose and I just started the C25K program this week. But I've been doing work out dvds already so I wasn't completely new to…

I don't know if any of you will come back to this, but I started Day one yesterday. I took in all your advice and most of all: I went SUPER slow. But I FINISHED. It was great. I felt great. Just had to share and say thanks again!

ENJOY! That's what I do. I just play around until I find what I like the best!

I will also slice a head of regular cabbage into thin slices, and roast. I'll add sea salt, crack black pepper, olive oil, and garlic as well. Sometimes I'll add minced garlic, and sometimes I'll add a bit of red pepper flakes for a little bite. We love this too! ETA: I've found roasting cabbage is a much more milder taste…
-
When I cook it like this it has a bit of a sweet flavor actually. The cumin can possibly pull that out, but it is actually very mild compared to regular cabbage (and we love both in our house). I've roasted it until it's super tender and I've roasted it for a shorter time to leave it a bit crunchy and I love it either way.…

I too roast a few large trays of veggies and keep in Tupperware to eat on through out the week. I experiment a lot with different veggies. My new found favorite is: chopped purple cabbage, sliced zucchini, chopped sweet onion, sunburst tomatoes. I add olive oil, sea salt, cracked black pepper, garlic powder and cumin.…

Amazing amazing amazing advice! Thank you all so much for not just your thoughts and advice, but your inspiration! I'm 20 pounds down today!!!! WOOHOOO and I know that is going to help me out a lot compared to having that extra 20 pounds on my frame! Thanks again you guys. And I may be friending you guys so I can pick your…
