Did you weigh yourself in exactly the same place? My scales vary by 7lb if I weigh myself on carpet or a hard floor. The reason I don't eat after 6 is purely because that's when we eat our evening meal, I generally eat to my calorie allowance or just under and eat a variety of food, I have no specific craving, just have a grumbly tum around 10pm, I vaguely remember reading something about not sleeping on your food.
