Thanks for the feedback. The only reason I set it to 2lbs/week was my circuit class will end and I was hoping to meet my goal around the same time, but I totally understand what you're saying. I'll make the modifications.

I pretty much have given up on the breads. Just can't see myself adding the calories for a food that leaves me hungry an hour later. God I miss bread!

The thing is, I was able to get down to 178 lbs back in 2009 while I was living away from wife and kids, but I lost a lot of muscle and really didn't look or feel healthy. What motivates me are several things: this website and tracking my calories/exercise, my workout pals, and lastly staying on track towards my goal. I too have lost 9 pounds so far. Albacore Tuna is great. I also take Whey Protein in a shake made with skim milk. They have several flavors but the chocolate is my favorite. Walmart sells a large tub which will last for months and it's affordable.
