you are doing great!

Good points. These are all things I have been doing (minus the praying part). You really do need to get excited about the journey.

steamed broccoli or baked asparagus with olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt & pepper

feel free to add me! I have a 7 month old baby girl and can't believe what eating right and exercise is doing to my body :) I have been exercising after she goes to bed and have curbed my snack habit. Good luck to you!

looking great!

I'm a nursing mom. I give myself an extra 150 since she is eating solids now. I haven't had any issues with my supply. I nurse around every 4 hours.

Feel free to add me too! This is my second month and it has been such a great place for support :) Good luck to you!

I love it!! I am currently doing the 9 week program and I totally think it is helping me with my weight loss.
-
good luck to you! this site is fantastic and will really make you think about what you are putting in your mouth.

Good luck with your new lifestyle change! I think you'll find this website to be very supportive. It has done wonders in making me evaluate what I put in my mouth.

I can't wait to be 'overweight' too. Being 'obsese' sucks! I have EA Active Sports 2 and my person is identified as being 'husky'. Can't wait to be the 'average' person. Wii Fit sounds kinda mean in that regard. Congrats on the weight loss!

I agree compared to your old habits you did really well to resist temtation. The fact that you were/are thinking about your food choices is amazing!! Keep up the great work peppers :) P.S I binged on chips the other day..UGH...hasn't hurt my weightloss though since I have been exercising and eating well for the most part.

I agree that a 1 pound a week weight loss is actually good - they say slow and steady is the best in terms of keeping it off in the long run. P90X is hardcore so like the others I say that you need to eat more of your exercise calories.

I find that MFP overestimates calories (like soooo bad). I would go with the EA calories (I do!). I'm also doing the 9 week challenge.
-
I defintely don't go by MFP calories burned. I find for the most part they overestimate what is really burned. I use EA Active Sports for PS3 and you are hooked up to a heart monitor. That way I know for sure how many calories I am burning.

I've overeaten the past two days. I managed to exercise thank goodness but I don't think it's enough. Here's hoping we both get back on track! I think it is completely normal to have off days (or two). You are not alone.

I am a potato chip addict too :) This is day 15 with no chips for me. I was at the grocery store the other day and I didn't even go down the snack aisle - didn't even feel the desire to. Go us!

I'd say 12 pounds since December is fantastic!! Slow and steady is the way to go. I feel your pain (and I've *only* lost 5 pounds since Dec). Like previous posters, I feel like it took me 7 years to put all this weight on so I need to understand that it won't come off right away. You're doing great!

-snacking (in front of the TV) -eating lots of fast food -eating to deal with the sudden loss of my father -baby weight

no more potato chips. they are my biggest weakness in life and I often eat a whole bag in a day. I will allow myself other snacks once in awhile but I know if I don't eliminate this from my diet I will never lose weight.
