I also had a heart attack recently. I'm just trying to be more active in general. I live on the second floor walking up and down the stairs. Cleaning constantly. I also rarely sit during the day. I walk all day long.

Log everything. 2000 calories is 2000 calories so if you are eating 900 carrots a day it wont do any good lol

As long as they actually get rid of the junk it will be good. If kids have a choice between Dominos pizza and a chicken wrap they are almost always going to choose the pizza. But they don't want to starve so if the have no other choice they will gladly eat it and eventually probably even like it.

Another thing I found helpful is don't weigh yourself as often. This is more of a mental challenge than physical. I was weighing in every single day and when I would gain weight I would just give up even if it was only .10 of a pound. Yes BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! There are a lot of women I am just friends with. But if we all want to be honest men think A LOT. So any of those that I have been just friends with I would be a liar if I said I wasn't constantly thinking about how it would be to sleep with them. lol
