I purchased the Polar FT7...... and immediately took it back. After getting it all set up and downloading the manual, I found out that you need to purchase a $50 usb transmitter to upload all of your workouts to your computer and their online diary. In addition, I use the app, "Cardio Trainer", on my Droid.... it will sync…

thank you all for the tips and suggestions. I edited my settings for the food diary to track sodium and WOW I am eating a lot more than I thought!!!!! Not good! I will have to concentrate on this area in my diet. Drinking tons of water to flush out excess Na and NaCl...... how long does that process take? Thanks again!

I used to kind of be like him.... when my hubby would get motivated, I would completely shut down (as far as wanting to even try to lose weight). I don't know why I did it because it doesn't make a whole lot of sense! yeah, when he would be "good" about his eating, I would be bad, when he would go to the gym, I would sit…

my trainer said one day of rest.... My problem is that I find that if I miss a day, the following day is really tough to get motivated to get to the gym. :grumble:

I do have wide feet so that might be part of the problem, but my shoes aren't tight....even after working out. I wonder if perhaps there is some sort of insert that might help? I don't know... I guess I hoping for some concrete "yes, this works" advice because I too, love the elliptical and the burn that I get from it.…

I usually go between 30-45 min as well. I've heard that loosening your shoes helps, but that hasn't really done a whole lot either.

I also have problems with the balls of my feet and toes hurting and 'falling' asleep'. I try to shift my weight around and lift my feet to keep the blood flowing. It's the only thing keeping me from going longer on the elliptical which is what I'd like to do. it's frustrating! Luckily my gym also has these which doesn't…
