  • That's an incredible change!! Awesome job...keep it up, girl!!
  • Not off the top of my head but check out skinnytaste.com! Amazing, yummy, lowfat recipes for everything from main dishes to dessert!
  • Bacardi / diet coke is 65 calories per drink...a lot better than beer or anything mixed with juice! :drinker:
  • Feel free to add me! I love the motivation MFP friends give me!!
  • Give it a try!! I started going once a week a couple months ago and I LOVE it!! Don't worry if you can't keep up or don't have rythym...just keep moving! It's a great workout! And remember...nobody is watching you...they all have their eyes on the instructor. Good luck!
  • I hear ya! MFP has been a great tool for me so far! Be honest and log everything! I only gained 21 pounds when I was pregnant with my son (although I was way too heavy to start) and I lost it all 8 weeks postpardum but I gained it all back...pretty sure it was just due to the lifestyle change and maybe some PPD. 2-1/2…
  • I think it's whatever you're comfortable with. When I started MFP I set my goal at 50 lbs. knowing that I need to lose more. As I have lost I upped it to 75 lbs. but I'm sure the closer I get to that I will up it again. For me it's discouraging looking at the big #'s...as soon as I see them I wonder how long it's going to…
  • I have alot of weight to lose also...feel free to add me! I love the motivation & support from my MFP pals!
  • I have a long way to go myself but my MFP friends are a great motivation...add me girl!! Now's a great time to start...good luck on your weight loss journey!
  • Add me! I'm Christian...and my husband is a Baptist preacher finishing up his schooling. With an amazing 2-1/2 year old. And I work...4 days a week...so not full-time but I could use some motivational support!!
  • Feel free to add me as well! I love the motivation I get from MFP friends!! Hope you're having a great weekend!
  • I had the same thing happen to me last month. I started watching what I was eating and exercising the end of January and my period was due February 11...I didn't get it until March 3. I guess the major changes I was making affected my cycle as well. I'm hoping it regulates itself after a few months though.
  • Thanks for all the input! I've decided not to log them and just consider it an "extra burn" for the day. Have a fabulous weekend everyone!!
  • Thanks! Sounds delicious!
  • You're doing awesome!! You can definately see the changes...and after just 4 weeks! I think that's pretty amazing! Keep up the good work, good luck on the second half of your journey!
  • I weigh in Friday mornings as well. I work so hard all week at keeping under my calorie goal and exercising every day so when it comes to Saturday and Sunday I still try stay under my goal but if I need to rest a day I pick either Saturday or Sunday to take it easy.
  • Feel free to add me as well! I love all the motivating/accountability that my MFP friends provide!! =)
  • Welcome! I'm from Iowa also! I love MFP...good luck to you!
  • I have PCOS and am trying to lose weight and get healthy o hopefully have baby #2. My son was a total surprise and a blessing... he's 2-1/2 now. Before I got pregnant with him I was told that it was unlikely that I could have children. Don't give up hope! Add me as a friend and we can motivate eachother!!
  • I would have sent it back...especially if the service was bad to begin with. I used to waitress and sometimes people just have "off" days but you should have at least gotten the meal that you ordered. What's done is done though...take it with a grain of salt and move on. Next time, stick up for yourself!
  • I'm in the same boat...I need to lose some weight so we can get pregnant with #2. I never thought I was able to conceive at all (I have polycystic ovarian syndrome) so baby #1 was a big surprise. Now having to deal with the weight and the PCOS is hard but I'm taking it a day at a time. Feel free to add me as a friend and…
  • It's great that you've lost 30!!! Keep up with it girl...I know how hard it is. I was down to my pre-pregnancy weight 8 wks after I had my baby and over a year gained another 20 lbs. Since joining MFP I'm have 2 pounds to go to get to my pre-pregnancy weight and my son is 2-1/2. Not to mention I still have a ton of weight…
  • I've been eating right and exercising for 6 weeks now and I still get the "I want to eat more" feeling sometimes. I have found that it's usually more of an emotional thing for me though...if I'm having a bad day, I want to eat...if I'm sad, I want to eat...not eat to feel satisfied but to make me feel "better." Make sure…
  • Sounds yummy! I'm gonna have to try it! Thanks! :)
  • I would be totally happy with a 12 or 14...I've always been a bigger girl and I'm good with that!
  • You're doing GREAT so far!! Good job, girl!
