I refill my bottled water bottles from the tap and keep them in the frig, the ones that originally cost the most taste the best :)

they say its 90% diet anyway, I love working out and my knees are crappy but I do what I can, like tonight is Pilates and that's all on the ground,. can you do elliptical? That's pretty easy on the knees. I do run a bit but then I have to NOT run for 3-5 days, I am hoping that changes a bit as I lighten up.

After reading your post, I googled spin bike shoes. I didn't realize that the side of the pedal opposite the toe clips was engineered to accept a Shimano "SPD" clip so I am going to have to check out the bikes we have and see if they are like that. May have to shop for a pair of shoes that have the *SPD" clip on the…

I had never heard of tofu noodles, will give that a try. I know using multigrain spaghetti in lo mein stir fry isn't as tasty as regular spaghetti.

I would go with the more conservative estimate as a rule. I noticed the Stairmaster gives me less calories than mfp when I am doing my 30 minutes climbing stairs. It didn't dawn on me till I read this that I could manually change it, thanks!

Depends on how much you are going to spend and how much you are going to use it? I use a SportsArt at the gym that I like but they are kind of pricey.

I don't buy cookies anymore. If I have a cookie/chocolate craving I have an oatmeal and dark chocolate granola bar with a glass of 2% milk, works for me!

Since I got my Droid X phone, I just use Pandora Radio and I don't have to download, it's the coolest thing! For my ipod I get free podcasts by many trance DJs, just google something like "Thrillseekers podcast"

Well, I think keeping the Food log and realizing what foods are killing my efforts (breakfast sausage). I heard that it takes 3500 calories per lb for a 175 lb person. I do treadmill, stairmaster, spin class, pilates class, and lift weights so the diet part is my key to success.
