Sending you a friend request Crystal! I need more motivational friends, a lot of mine now are pretty quiet. I try to motivate and comment as often as I can. Anyone can feel free to add me. I'm 5'7" with only the last 5 pounds to go now!

Bought this today and put it in my vanilla protein powder - AMAZING! So good! Thanks for turning me into a PB2 lover!

I'm going to have to stop at my nutrition store on the way home to pick up some of this. Have yall tried the chocolate PB2 version? Just wondering which one to grab!

Tried pumpkin in brownies once, it was awful. I wonder can you substitue something else, like maybe natural applesauce instead? I'll give it a try! Thanks!

Its really interesting to see the differences in responses between the men and women here. Very telling and kind of disappointing. If you are uncomfortable, you should voice your concerns with the staff. You don't have to make a big deal out of it with them, just quietly tell them to be on the look out. You're a "paying…

Wow! Thank you! Tried this recipe tonight (except with zuccini instead of mushrooms and no olives) and LOVED it! Wow, so good! Even the meat eaters in my family loved it! Will save this and use again and again.

Ovo-Lacto vegetarian for 14 years here! Would LOVE some more veg friends that are active and supportive. My diary is always open!

I thought week 2 was easier too, but they do get harder at week 3 if I remember correctly. Then he starts adding more 90 second increments in week 5. I like all of the dvds so far, but some more than others. They all get me huffing and puffing though... and the eye candy in the dvds is quite nice! For my cardio days I…

A few weeks late to this post, but I'll answer anyway. I am on week 6 right now and typically burn ~330 calories in 40 minutes according to my HRM. Your burn could be very different though. I love the program. I've gotten so much stronger and my endurance has improved astronomically. I've stopped getting sore though, but I…

bump, been wanting to make a quiche recently!

I have been veg for 14 years. Never once have I shamed/blamed/preached at anyone for their eating habits (its not my business). But I can't tell you how many times I've been shamed/blamed/preached at by meat eaters who try to prove to me that I'm wrong because of x,y, and z (each person has a different reason). Granted,…

Tried this tonight on a sandwich thin, pretty good! Next time I will use a little less garlic powder though. I added the nutritional information (used the recipe calculator!) to the database under the name Spinach Burgers (Pinterest). Only 130 calories per patty!

Since I have all of these items in my house right now, how can I pass this up? Thanks, looks great!

Kari, I know I already replied on your wall but since then I noticed that I too am at a plateau (four weeks at 140). To break the plateau I plan to break up my routine. I've been at ~1500 calories every day (except the last couple Sundays I have blown the diet) and doing about 40 minutes exercise 4-5 days per week, buring…

Congrats! I love the feeling of knowing my abilities are improving too! I'm so jealous though, I really want to try Insanity but I've been waiting for the Amazon price to dip below $100!

I'm up for it. I PM'ed you! Thanks!

Each dvd is a different length. The cardio dvds range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes and the HIIT workouts range from 15 to 30 minutes. I love them and think they are a lot of fun. I started them after doing Turbo Jam for a couple years, so that might have helped get the moves down faster but it is a quick program with very…

Actually, your BMR is the amount of calories your body burns when you lay in bed all day doing nothing. You should not eat below your BMR. Your TDEE is the amount of calories you would need to consume to maintain. Having cleared that up, MFP was way off on my calculator so I manually set it to my BMR. So my opinion is to…

Are you wetting the pads before you use it? The chest strap may not be reading because its not getting the electrical signal from your heart (conducted through the water on the pads)?

I wear a HRM when doing this DVD and it says I burn ~187 calories for the 35 minute video. I am 5'7" and weigh 142. I think the burn is slightly higher though, because my HRM does not read as well when I'm lying down doing floor work.

Just sent you a request. I've been a veg for 13 years and I will be very glad to have another vegetarian MFP friend! I'm 27 and from the US (Florida).

I would suggest your local library to try out exercise videos. Mine caries a bunch. I also try out a lot of videos from Blockbuster Online, they have a great selection. But I miss Exercise TV too!

I actually agree with Firedragon, for overall fat loss, what matters most is the difference between the number of calories you expend and the number of calories you consume. "While it is true that a higher proportion of calories burned during low-intensity exercise come from fat (about 60 percent as opposed to…

Mine gets really high with Turbo Fire, at my max; however, I do the high impact version with Chalean. You can follow the girl doing the low impact version and still get a great workout. I think the dvds are really fun.
