You got this! It basically just sounds like eat a lot of fruits and vegetables with little/lean meats and low carb. That's basically what I try to do most meals, soups are wonderful and so are veggie stews. Veggie omelettes and frittatas are also great because eggs have protein but not a ton of it compared to meats. Best…

Amazing results to date, you look great!! How long did it take to lose the 35lbs and anything specific you attribute your success to?

You can adjust this! If you go to Food -> Settings -> Nutrients tracked, you can change one of them to Fiber. I changed mine from the default of "Sodium" to "Fiber", as that was more important for me to see.

Chicken and salad sounds good! I made some cajun seasoned chicken with zucchini, onion, garlic and bell pepper to have in a wrap with feta, hummus and roasted tomatoes! And a little thing of roasted chickpeas. I did a lot of meal prep over the weekend, so have lentil chili, chicken quinoa, or chicken wraps ready to go for…

It depends - I try to watch my fat, carb and sugar intake since my family is predisposed to high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes. However, take a look at where the fats and carbs/sugars are coming from. Are they fruits, vegetables and whole grains? Or are they oils?

It's so easy to procrastinate our health and happiness away!! So happy for you for taking action. Don't worry too much about time lost or things you should have done sooner, and get to doing them now. :)

I am on all the time, got a 45 day streak going on. If you want to add me feel free! I still have over 30lbs I wanna lose.

I make Mexican stuffed bell peppers. Yum! Cook ground beef (or whatever meat) with onions and taco seasoning according to packet. Mix in jalapenos and a little rice, then stuff into the peppers. Top with Mexican blend cheese and drizzle the taco sauce all over and into the pan. Bake. It's amazing. Can also chop them up and…

Hell yeah! We gotta rock it this summer, then next summer will be even better. :)

That's awesome!! Good for you. :) I went bathing suit shopping yesterday and bought a high-waisted bikini, nervous about it but what the heck! It fits and I don't have too many lumps and bumps... So happy for you!

Good for her, she looks beautiful! :)

I think coming from an SO as opposed to any other family member is different. If I lose my weight and then start gaining some back without realizing it, I would welcome the hints. Especially knowing how happy I am losing weight and being healthier and active, it means a lot to me and he's happy for me. As long as they are…

I think you just gotta keep going until it becomes routine. Work in a time (early morning before work or on the way home) that just suits your schedule and make it happen. It also helps me to think of it as a job I have to do for myself. I go to work and take care of those responsibilities so I can earn money, I go to the…

I would say there's nothing wrong with snacking, just make healthier snack choices. :) Also, make sure you are getting enough protein in your meals to keep you full. Good, healthy fats help (think nuts), as well as fiber in vegetables and fruits. Just wondering as well, if you eat 1450 calories a day and burn 1000 of…

I weigh every day. But, I don't let a slight gain bother me in the slightest. I know I'm logging my food at a steady calorie deficit and working out, so nothing to fear! Just plain curious.

Sounds delicious and simple, posting to save the recipe. :) This should be awesome leftovers to take to work the next day!

I love shopping. It's so exciting to see that clothes are looking better and better on me. Been bad for my wallet lately, though!

I think it's all up to you and your schedule. For me it works to have about the same amount of food for each meal, but snack more often while at work on fruits and vegetables. I will say that I hate having a large dinner, or a large meal in general, because I feel bloated and uncomfortable for HOURS. I just can't eat like…

My boyfriend does yoga and loves it! The different poses and stretches have been so good for his legs, he has been through some surgeries. It bothers me that it's seen as very 'feminine', just like how weight lifting is seen as masculine. It's all up to what you like, stereotypes be damned!

That;s so awesome! Great job, you should feel proud of yourself. :)

Honestly, I don't watch a lot of TV. I find those shows don't help me much to meet my goals and feel motivated. Instead, I watch YouTube vlogs for health and fitness. I enjoy seeing what other people's groceries look like, the meals they cook, and workouts they do. Gives me a lot of inspiration for new ideas, as opposed to…

That's wonderful!!! You look beautiful, love the black skirt too. :) I'm a shopaholic now, I've bought like 5 new pairs of shorts and some new dresses. I gotta stop that haha.

I agree with above, I log absolutely everything! Sometimes it can be a bit tough, but at the end of the day I know exactly what I am eating and what results to expect with my fitness and calorie deficits. Other than that, just make healthier choices. Have the grilled corn on the cob instead of potato salad. Eat your burger…

I take birth control pills and haven't been having any problems. Should be fine! :)

I agree and wish people were more encouraging on here. A lot of people are to quick to assume things, neglecting the fact that there are many upset, depressed or just fragile people who genuinely need support and help. By reaching out on the forums, maybe they don't have the support in their everyday lives. I think most…

I started at 204 end of March, and now I am down to 186 and counting. I still do have a ways to go to hit my ultimate goal, but as long as you stay focused and committed to this new lifestyle you can succeed! :) If you need any extra motivation, feel free to friend me! I have an open diary and am logged on almost all the…

I love to stir fry them with carrots, onion, and cubes of chicken breast. Serve over cabbage and a portion of rice with a little soy sauce. :)

I second the hotel gyms! Luckily a lot of places have nutrition facts available, especially if it's a major chain. If you are eating out a lot on the road, try to go to some place where you can order from the 'light' menu (usually say 600 calories or less or whatever). A lot of places are putting healthier choices on their…

Nothing wrong with using that as motivation! Haha. I have an upcoming vacation that I want to get into shape for, and the things that are motivating me lately are cute clothes, the idea of looking great in photos, and putting up a new photo on my Facebook with a thinner me. My boyfriend is super supportive and helps keep…

Just want to say, you can do it! The more you work at it, the easier it will get. :) There's a lot of brilliant resources on this site, so use it to your full advantage. If you need any encouragement or motivation, feel free to friend me!
