Same skirt, around 50lbs difference! Left: ~200lbs Right: 150lbs

Amazing progress! I can definitely see a difference, sometimes our progress is deceiving. I know I have been in the same boat as you. Have you taken any measurements? Sometimes the weight comes off in the most random of places - measuring your thighs, calves, biceps can help you to understand where your weight is coming…

After our dog passed away a week ago, I was going through photos of him, and saw how different my face looked here on the left from a few years ago. Left: Around 190lbs Right: Around 147lbs

I would recommend boosting the oats up to 40g for added volume to keeo you fuller, and then upping the protein. Oatmeal is great for sneaking in protein powder. Try adding a small scoop of that to replace your peanut butter as it is lower calorie, and instead of chocolate that's high calorie, add in a tablespoon of…

It helps to look at your calorie goal not as a 'goal' but a minimum calorie intake. I agree with eating back some of your exercise calories. Are you going through anything lately that could be triggering a binge? (Work, family, personal struggles, etc). Or is mostly coming on from you feeling starved?

I've got a few...! - That there will be a growing frustration about people who continue to make excuses about their weight and how they can't lose it the way I did (calorie counting) or they justify their choices when we are out at a restaurant, simply since I've lost weight. Girl, I wasn't judging you, but when you say…

If you don't use one yet, get a food scale and weigh everything instead of using cups. This is much more accurate! Also, if you are logging restaurant food or things without exact nutritional info, overestimating on things you can't find an exact match for is the best way to ensure you can come out at a deficit! Are you…

Yes. I don't work out aside from walking about 45 mins a day. I'm on 1200 calories and I've stuck to that for the past year to lose over 60lbs. I'm now 148lbs and thinking of adding in some strength training for toning. You can definitely do it! Just start with getting your nutrition down so you feel satisfied and form a…

I don't believe in cheat days, I just eat what I want within my calories since I don't want to sabotage my progress. However, it's a different case when I have planned for a vacation, as I would rather enjoy my time. But that being said, don't turn it into a bingefest!

I finally hit 60lbs lost, so wanted to celebrate with a before and after! I am embarrassed to post these before photos... I dont have a lot of photos and nowhere to really take them, but this is what I have. I am 5' 5" SW 209 CW 149

I've lost about 58lbs (209 to 151lbs) pretty slowly, over the course of a year and a half. I would say I do have some loose skin, but not a lot to worry with. Just a little jiggly around the tummy, thighs, and upper arms. A lot of mine can be chalked up to not having a strength training routine, which I need to get to work…

Not finished but here's a couple of my progress photos... I'm 5' 4.75" with a starting weight around 209, current weight is 151. My profile pic, these photos were taken 1 year apart exactly: Recent face comparison:

Some weird things... - Shaving your legs is a lot quicker but trickier. I've knicked my legs so many times since they are thinner and more angular, less fat and rounded. - People will continue to ask how you're doing it, what the secret is, even if you have told them repeatedly what you've been doing. - You can build a…

Me!! I eat between 1200-1500 calories per day depending on exercise and how I feel. I've been doing this since April last year and have lost 40lbs to date at a consistent rate. I am 5' 4" with a starting weight of 193 and current weight of 153. I have just recently been slightly increasing my calories a bit more the closer…

Cutting down the oil I'm using when cooking. A lot of times recipes call for a tablespoon of oil in a pan, I will use half a teaspoon and it works out just as well, never have any problems. This has cut the calories and fat down quite a lot for my recipes!

Here's a recent comparison. Left is a week ago at around 153, and right is a year ago at around 193. 40lbs and still going. :)

40lbs since April 2017 with a couple of vacations thrown in. This year I want to tone and drop the last 20lbs!

That's awesome!! Making those choices as a conscious decision even when there is temptation is such a great feeling.

Aw thank you, and wow that's amazing, wonderful job!! It's nice when all the hard work pays off. :) Was there anything you did in particular as part of your plan/lifestyle? Always love hearing from others!

Thanks so much! I followed the suggested 1200 a day, and I eat back some of my exercise calories as well. So that can be a total of 1200-1400 calories/day. I walk about 45 mins a day at a leisurely pace (2.5mi/hr).

Thanks guys!! I wish I had more to tips I could give, but the biggest thing of course is consistently logging and weighing everything, as annoying as it may be! Some things I have learned along the way... - You don't need as much meat in meals as you think you do. Diced mushrooms help bulk out ground beef. I cut back the…

Thanks everyone! Feels funny to share this, but also really exciting for me!

Thank you!! Sure! I have foused on calorie counting, walking, and cooking healthy meals with lots of vegetables. :) I love to cook so that was the easiest way for me to make a change that I could stick to. I portion everything out into servings as soon as it's ready, and have the leftovers for lunch. I walk to work and…

Sorry it's grainy but... I was shocked to see such a difference! I am 10lbs from goal and more to go, but have gone from 209 to 160. :)

You look great and so happy in your recent photos! I see a big shift in confidence in just a few photos, great work girl!! Very inspiring.

Amazing results, you should be very proud of what you've accomplished!!!

I love that!!! Wonderful teaching them healthy habits and to have a good relationship with fitness and food. ❤️❤️

Lots of veggies! I cook a lot at home, just load up on veggies with a smaller amount of meat, get creative! Some tips I have: - Bulk up any meal with ground beef by adding a bunch of chopped mushroom. Offers a similar meaty texture and absorbs the flavors very well. - Replace rice with quinoa, it has way less calories per…
