Great work on the "no fast food" goal. Have you taken your measurements? I find that metric pretty motivating, as it can change even when the scale is not moving.

Eating and logging are back on track v-day (which was awesome). I am fighting a cold, so napping has been my exercise of choice lately.

Congrats on 12k! That is impressive. Good idea on getting off the bus a few stop earlier. I am gonna have to try that.

Nice progress! I love that your mom is in. I am still prodding my dad, but so far no success.

Awesome work! Congratulations

Congrats on the calf improvement! Are you considering adjusting your calorie goals? Losing slowly is still losing.

Tough call, but a smart one. Pushing through knee pain is not usually a good choice. Sounds like you have a good plan to move forward. You'll get there!

Way to go!

Nice work!

Congrats!

Nice work, very inspiring! I am working on that emotional hunger too. Thanks for posting.

So tired this week! I worked the late shift, so my sleep has been abysmal. I drank all the coffee, but I didn't eat all the extra food--yay! I kept wanting to eat because I was so tired, but I wasn't actually hungry. Through distraction and hydration, I managed to stave off the worst of it. I had a couple of great runs…

Nice work! Overcoming that internal "little hater" is huge. Crushing your workouts is a satisfying way to shut her up. :)

Listening to your pain and taking care of yourself is probably a more important goal. I am curious to hear how the elliptical works for you. I've had mixed results when my joints are achy.

The runs sound great! Hitting that milestone will feel awesome.

Glad the pain is down and the sleep is up!

I am really impressed that you went in and worked out. After the day you had, it would have been easy to skip it, especially when they were closing early. Kudos for getting it done!

Sounds like great progress on the recomposition. Hope the class was good.

Congrats!

I love that "fitting" feeling. Congrats!

Ugh is right. She sounds bad. Having a supportive trainer can be awesome. But cruddy trainers are common. There is nothing wrong with saying that someone is not a good fit and getting a new trainer. Even with good trainers, there can be differences in style that just don't work for you.

Normally, I navigate restaurants just like home meals, attempting to make decent choices on foods I like. But for Valentine's day, the mister is taking me to a restaurant that is having a fixed price menu. They normally have small to reasonable portions, but it is NOT diet food. I am trying to make a plan for this that…

I have trouble winging it too. I am glad you are seeing this as the minor hiccup that it is.

Sounds like a good week. Nice work on the steps!

It is tough when your body won't let you do the things you want to do. I am glad you are taking care of yourself.

Great progress! Sounds like good goals for next week.

Congrats, it is nice to see your hard work paying off.

Great results!
