This is my first month doing UAC. I am good at tracking breakfast but tend fizzle as the day progresses. I am hoping that this challenge will give me the push I need to be consistent. So far, so good. I am now starting to realize the unexpected side benefit of saying no to tastes/licks/bites because I don't know how to…

This is probably better than my original goal: don't gain 5 lbs in December. Original starting weight : 162 lbs December starting weight : 160 lbs December goal : 155 lbs Ultimate goal : 140ish

You are amazing. Your dedication has paid off. What an inspiration!

Thanks team! It has been fun doing this with you.

I had cottage cheese and tomatoes for breakfast every day this week. It is my favorite breakfast... and I am boring :)

I am sad that we are nearly done, but trying to use it to motivate me to dig in for the last push. So far the water accountability challenge is going easier than last time, but is also 20 degrees warmer this week. :) Hope everyone is having a great week.

I am focusing on water.

I am glad you are fighting the urge to throw in the towel! Health is way more important than the scale. You can do it!

I am down 6 inches overall since starting this challenge. My 1 mile run time is 30 seconds faster. I can't plank or pushup right now due to an injury.

I finally made it through the meditation. I am glad we only have to do it once for points. I thought I might relax if he would just stop whispering at me, but no. It was the parts I hate about yoga with none of the stuff I enjoy. I clearly need some physical distraction when trying to find mental stillness.

If you fall asleep during the meditation, does that count as completing it? :)

Don't let the comp test worry you. You are making great progress and it is not a straight line down to the finish line. Good luck with the challenge. It sounds fun.
-
Glad you are both on the upswing! I am just coming out of soup season and looking forward to salad season soon. :)

Sending positive thoughts your way. The gym sounds like a great idea. Do they have a heavy bag? I find my emotional eating much more manageable when I can punch something. :) Heavy bags make a satisfying noise when you whack them too.

I am in Seattle. I like running, weightlifting, and yoga. Actually, I hate yoga, but I like the way I feel when I am done. I am trying to get rid of some weight I gained after an injury. I am very happy to be part of this combined team. I am glad we merged instead of getting eliminated!

Today I had ground grains of paradise on my tomato slices instead of salt. It had a mellow, peppery flavor with a little citrus note. I missed the salt, but it was an interesting change.
