A friend told me that you loose "a sweater" for every 10 pounds. So the more you loose the more sweaters you have to put on :-)

You look amazing! It is so fun to get rid of the larger size clothes isn't it :-)

Drink more water and more foods with vitamin D.

I try to stay close to my goal every day, but because this is a lifestyle not just a diet, I don't worry on a day to day basis. Like this week, I ate a little short all week, because I am going on a women's camping trip this weekend and KNOW I will eat and drink a lot more then I usually do and not feel guilty at all.…

I'm 5'2" and 61 y/o. My food goal is 1200 calories + eating back my exercise weight, which I usually eat back about 1/2 of exercise calories but always make sure I eat at least 1200 cals.

I read that you can loose over 100 calories by drinking ice cold water because it takes calories to warm the water back up to body temp. So everytime you drink ice water you are loosing calories :-) That being said...try drinking your water room temp. and you may not be so cold :-) I also heard that for every 10 lbs. you…

AMEN! I hate water too! I used to drink a 6pk of diet coke a day sometimes. I completely quit the soda and now drink flavored water. I started drinking the AquaFresh rasberry or mixed fruit. Did that for a month, then started to split 1 bottle into 2 bottles. I also chug my water 8 oz. at a time and just get it over with.…

Thrift stores, goodwill, ebay, friends. You can get smaller clothes for very little if you don't need to have the latest and greatest :-) Since you would be buying interim clothes, it may do the trick for you.

Nope, but I will eat some of the Belgium & Swiss chocolate truffles that my son brought me home from his tour in Europe :-)
-
Oh yeah, especially at night around 9:00pm, so I grab a Special K 100 cal Pastry Crisp and munch away. I will NOT give up chocolate, but have cut down and exercise a little more to make up for it :-)

You may not want to go to a doctor, but you really, really need to!! Sounds like you are very depressed, hence the fatigue and always tired. Your blood pressure problem is really serious too. Get to a doctor! Do it for your kids!

I really like the Think Thin meal replacment bars. http://shop.thinkproducts.com/ 230 calories and 20 g of protein. I also like the Special K bars 170 cal. and 10 g protein.

This is good advice! I had PF for along time and was told to ALWAYS wear shoes and shoes with a heel. Since I started doing this, my PF is "in remission" now. Took a long time and if I try and go bare foot or wear flat shoes, it will flare up. I even put my shoes on when I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I…

Actually, no I don't see that. Every thread I have read where someone says they are only eating less than 1200 calories a day, almost every reply is " you aren't eating enough" you need to eat more to loose more. Most replies are to eat AT LEAST 1200 calories and ALSO eat all your exercise calories. All the Help threads in…

I quit drinking diet coke when I started on my "life style change" because I really thought I craved chocolate and sweets alot more. So my answer is I'm with ya :-)

I have been on MFP for 2 months now and I do allow myself "cheats" but because I count my calories I can do extra exercise for the next few days to cover the extra calories...so I guess it really isn't cheating :-)

My husband and son are big Kings fans :-) I like to watch the games, but don't keep track of stats or anything.

Usually I weigh in at the same time everyday. It gives me motivation to work harder and stay focused. I have an "official" weigh in day once a week where I update my goal weight though. Sometimes it fluctuates alot, depending on whether I splurged the day before or not :-)
