  • Workout: BC1 Nutrition 2059 (1500) My nutritional choices have not been the best lately. I need to do much better.
  • Hmm. My post yesterday didn't seem to have gone through until now. Oops
  • Workout: rest day Calories: 1509 (1500) Water: 72oz I hope your son is okay! I agree. Very hard to stay consistent when traveling.
  • Way to go! Workout: Burn If Off Calories: 1680 net (1500) Movie night at a brewhouse with friends... Not too bad considering. I would have been fine had I not splurged on a mocha in the morning. Two mini splurges in one day isn't the best... But the workouts are going great!
  • Today's check in Workout: BC3 Calories: 1480 (1500) Water: 40 oz
  • Just keep increasing the weight each week until you get there! The second month you lift a lot heavier... I feel like the first month is about establishing your baseline so you can really build muscle then.
  • Today was a rest day. I didn't eat much, but that probably makes up for over eating a bit yesterday. I'll have to check on whey brand... Hubby buys it. I don't modify too many, but I have really good balance for how poor my core is. For the forearms: try not using all your fingers when you curl. Its making the fist that…
  • Check-in for Saturday: Workout: BC 2 ( four days in a row!) I'm struggling with getting enough protein also. I am going to get some nuts to add to salads and cottage cheese in the morning. I have a vanilla whey protein shake I like, too.
  • I like the mani pedi rewards too! Check-in Workout: Burn Intervals - and I kicked butt at them today. (2.5 lb weight) Calories: (not done yet... have chicken salad planned for dinner) Water: 16 oz so far. I try to weigh in once a week. I'm down 2.8 lbs from last week - but some of that could be water weight from T.O.M. It…
  • Good idea! Anyone have a sample? I can look something up tomorrow. Now I see @giusa‌ 's check-in. Something like that works for me! Today: BC1 Cals: 1501 - workout Water: 70oz
  • Hmm, not sure why it copied my first post. I did all three burn circuits and the intervals and burn it off last week. BC1 today. I'm like many of you... Having started a few times and not sticking with it. I have three or four half completed first round logs. I hit my highest weight this Xmas after going up and down for…
  • I'm starting over with the program today. Anyone else new?
  • I'm just starting week three of Burn. I'd be happy to follow along with you, also! Add me if you like
  • Another option would be to not run every day. I have done every other day with strength/CLX and then running on the off days. It has worked fairly well to fit within a nice schedule. You could take the time he runs on off days to do your thing. I'm navigating this once it gets warmer with my husband as well. He wants to…
  • Hi! I'm just joining this group, but I am working on week 5 of C25k - I'd love to have some company/accountability! I did my first 8 min runs Wednesday night with day 2 and I couldn't believe I actually did it! I was astounded. tomorrow will be the first 20 min run and I'm scared, but I'm ready. sort of. I have started and…
  • I slacked off for a while there, so just restarted this combo this week. I'm loving it!
  • I also got a set of interchangable ones for like $45 at a big box store. They go from 2.5 lbs to 12.5 lbs in 2.5 lb increments.
  • I'm loving the running, too! I'm finishing up week two tomorrow (well, week 1 of c25k). I used to use the bands, but switched to dumbells this time around. I had a light, medium, and a heavy band and I definitely used the heavy band on the lower leg workouts. Make sure you choke up if you can on the bands, because it adds…
  • Now that it is nice out again, I should do this also. I have done the C25k a few times... never actually got to the end =( I just restarted CLX, just did week two's Burn 1.... so I'll plan on running tomorrow and doing abs/yoga on the running days. Great idea!
  • AWESOME!!!!

  • I eased up on the weights today for Lean 2 also. only 5's on the lateral raises, when I was doing 10's in the push circuit... and I think if I was really using better form my 2.5 lb weights would have been fine for the last anterior delt exercise. I do need to think about form rather than weight - doing it right slowly is…
  • awesome, LisaGirlfrien! Yes, the cardio sets are intense... they have always been intense for me, even after getting to week 9!
  • Just finished my first lean workout. o.m.g. I don't think I'll be able to lift my arms tomorrow. I made it through - mostly on my knees, and definitely dropped weight on the exercises as I went (started with 10's on the biceps, finished with 7.5) wow.
  • welcome ladies! I have done two months now and you will be so surprised at how strong you get!!!
  • Have you seen the "lean for life" plan with CLX? It is in the workbook and it has you just rotate the burn/push/lean workouts so that over the course of three weeks, you have done each one once... (first week burn 1, push 2, lean 3... next week lean 1, burn 2, push 3, etc. ) continuing with the cardio on those set days. I…
  • gatx - its on the DVD with Burn It Off and Recharge. Bluelena - I use it on the lift days. It is fast paced and gets me moving unlike the other CLX cardio ones that make me want to die. (in a good way). I don't have any other TJ workouts... what would you recommend?
  • If you try it a few times, you do get the hang of it. Since you do the same routine twice each time, it isn't quite so bad. I was in show choir in high school but learning dance moves was never my strong suit. I'm really enjoying it now that I have the patterns down.
  • Sure! When I have to miss a few days, I just take them as break days and start right back up where I left off.
