Volbeat is my new fave for cardio

This is a great place to be! Just like anything you do in life changing your lifestyle to include healthier habits will take practice. You know what they say: practice makes permanance! Just take baby steps in the direction you want to go and eventually it will be easier for you.

My newest addition to my cardio list is Godsmack- 1000HP

salsa is awesome and you can get so many varieties now. Also I like to make chicken salad and eat it on a bed of lettuce so it's like built in dressing. I like mine plain just chicken breast, mayo, and relish and maybe some bell peppers.

This is a great place to be for support and to also help support others. Feel free to add me if you like!

Welcome! This is a great place for motivation, support, and just being able to talk about your lifestyle changes. Feel free to add me if you want- I'm on often throughout the day.

Request sent! I had a lot of people on my list that stopped being active over the summer and never came back. Would love some extra support!

Welcome! This is a great place to get support and people who understand the path to good health. Feel free to add me- I'm usually on several times per day. My goal weight for now is 180 but I am also doing strength training so I have put on muscle. The ultimate number isn't a big deal for me anymore. I'm going towards…

I'm in the push phase right now on it. I love seeing how much stronger that I am getting from it and can definately see a difference in my arms and legs now!

Hello! Feel free to add me if you would like!

The heaviest weight that I am aware that I was at is about 270. I didn't weigh myself again after that and about a year later I got pregnant. I'm sure I was well over 300 pounds by the time I had my daughter ( I never was even tempted to peek- denial I guess.) I'm at 222.8 right now and I've tried many things over the last…

I like the ChaLean Extreme

We just got a Treadclimber and I am loving it! They came out with a new one called the Max Trainer right after we bought it so I think that will be our next major purchase!

Some people just believe that there should be an easy fix. Too bad it usually makes it worse for them in the long run. All you can do is let them know how you feel (which you did already) and then step back and keep at your own progress. I used to work with a lot of people who complained about their weight all the time but…

I made a visual poster (just an 8 1/2x 11 sheet of paper) that I cut phrases and words out of magazines to put on the fridge. It inspires me to remember that food is my fuel so I make better choices. This seems to work well for me. Things like "activate your energy," "healthy," "powerful," just things that trigger my mind…

Feel free to add me! I keep an open diary and like to get new meal ideas if anyone likes to share. I'm usually on everyday!

I didn't log and ate what I wanted for about the last week. Only up .4. Yep not even half a pound so must just be getting used to proper portion sizes. Haven't been getting my workouts in either but back to logging and such today so will see how it goes.

Welcome! This site is great for tracking- Feel free to add me if you are looking for some motivating friends on here. :)

I started "running" when I was about 260 ish (that was about 5 years ago)- about 2 years ago I developed issues with plantar fas.in my right foot only. I did some reseach into shoes and got some designed more for my issue. Since then it's pretty much gone. I started slow and I'm still not super fast but I enjoy it and just…

Feel free to add me! I've kept off about 45-50 pounds for the past 4-5 years but am re-committed to getting closer to my goal now. I'm very active on here and log daily.

Totally fine as long as you buy the organic- the rest of it has nitrates in it that you should avoid anyway. Organic bacon is great also!
-
I love mine! Have had them for a few years and used on and off (off while I had my gym membership) but now that I am not going to the gym I am using them again 5-6 days a week.

If you want to eliminate carbs you could look into the Paleo foods- There are a lot of good meal ideas you can incorporate even if you are not doing it full time.
-
If you do any kind of weights you might like the ChaLean Extreme program too!

Water and protein! I'm not sure what your meals consist of but if you eat more real whole foods rather than the "diet" junk you will find yourself fuller using less calories and this way you will also get the nutrition your body needs. I used to stay in my calorie limit but ate a lot of the processed snacks and frozen…

Feel free to add me also if you like- I used to try to comment for everyone but I just really don't have the time for it. I like to peek at open journals though for more meal ideas and mine is open as well.

The bands should work fine. Also, yoga does good for building long, lean muscles with only your body weight. You can probably find a lot of videos or stills of how to modify the lifts to accomodate using the resistance bands.
