Does your gym have a pool? Swimming won't cause strain on your knees. You could also do just the upper body equipment. You are right in you don't want to cause anymore injury to your knee! :) You may also ask one of the trainers at the gym - they don't mind answering questions now and then. Hope this helps!

I made these alot when I was doing the South Beach Diet. They are DELICIOUS!! And...they do heat up really well!! You can experiment with all different kinds of veggies too!!

Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! I was imagining panting, heavy sweating, and wanting to quit halfway through. I got through the whole thing and even got on the bike afterwards for 10 more minutes. I am probably jinxing myself saying it wasn't that bad..lol I have looked at week 3!! :)

What are some of the things you make everyday? I lost about 70 lbs a while back just changing the way I prepare some meals, because I didn't have the money to buy new stuff. I think I have become a pro at this..lol

I quit today. I bought the nicotine patches and bought some sugar free mints and gum.. (remember, these have calories you have to log..lol) I also cut up a bunch of veggies to snack on when I get the urge to smoke. Here is a quick trick if you don't have any chilled rice: it is still low-cal: Use the Hamburger Helper Chicken Fried Rice, mix in your own steamed veggies right before it's done. I am kinda new here. I lost 70 lbs before, and I have 30 to go. Doesn't seem like a lot, but it's tough. I have fun finding new recipes that are healthy to make and try, that helps keep me motivated. Pasta is my biggest weakness!! I could eat it every night! :)
