I don't think there's anything wrong with it :) Look at it this way.....it's a waste of food as well as money if you're not going to eat a whole adult portion! Do whatever you want to do, don't worry about what anyone else thinks :)

Do not eliminate your little treats! If you're anything like a lot of us on here, if you completely deprive yourself of food you enjoy then you will be more likely to slip up in a big way. You're not being unreasonable at all. Have you had a chat with him about it and told him how much hard work it is just to do your own as well as his? At the end of the day if he doesn't want to do it for himself then he won't stick to it anyway. What are his reasons for doing it? You shouldn't have to do all the hard work…

I started with focusing mainly on my eating habits and I'm a dog sitter/walker anyway so I was and still am walking almost every day. I have been for the odd swim since I started in the new year but apart from that and the walking that's all I've been doing so far. I'm planning to start the 30 Day Shred very soon though…

When I use the MFP BMR calculator I'm given a figure of 1,644. That's with MFP knowing my current weight and my goal weight! Most other calculators give me a figure about 100 more than that.

It does indeed :) It does a lot of different exercises as well as walking so I'm sure it could help :) I've also heard that FitBit is great too but haven't really looked into it myself x

No, I set my exercise as minimal because I know that TDEE takes into account your exercise when recommending calories eaten per day and I still want to log my exercise using my fitness pal. What kind of exercise do you like to do? I use Endomondo for the walks I do. It takes into account all your vitals and calculates calories burned based on how long you walk for, how fast you walk and whether you walk up or down hill :)
