You can add me! I'm down to 137 and just started working out as of the New Year! Takes a couple of weeks to build a new routine so give it a shot...start with simple walking or try a dvd workout. Small steps, doesn't happen overnight.

this is the one I have. Got it on Amazon for about 50.00. Pretty happy with it. I didn't want anything overly complicated, just wanted heart rate and calories burned, this does a bit more. I'm happy with it.

I have some shoulder issues as well and am in week 4. Weeks 3 and 4 are heavy shoulder concentrations. I've had some pain after week 3 but seem to be settling into it. I also modify some moves that I feel may compromise my shoulder. Do what you can and just keep moving on the exercises you can't do.

I agree 100% with gatorgirly. I'm on week 4 of the Body Revolution and I just started losing some weight after I increased my calories. I will also note you should try and focus on measurements rather than pounds right now. You'll start seeing the inches going down even though the scale may not budge.

It is likely starve mode as previously posted. You need to up your calories and eat at least the minimum 1200.

I purchased the same one and I don't have much weight to lose either. I'm happy with the purchase and like to know what I am burning from each type of exercise so I know which is the most effective.

I'm planning on starting kettlebells after I finish my current dvd set. I'm curious what your results were with these? How did you benefit the most? I hear the workouts/benefits are great.

I'm doing the Body Revolution and each 30 minute workout I'm burning about 250 calories. Best thing you can do is get a heart rate monitor which will calculate your calories each workout.

Hi There-you need to try and channel your grief in a new direction. Start with a short walk, ask a friend to go with you, go to a mall etc. Losing someone is very sad but you don't want it to spiral out of control. get yourself a set of dumb bells and an exercise dvd and commit to 30 minutes at least 3 days a week. Give yourself a small goal and work up from there! Stock your pantry with good food choices and talk with your mfp friends and you'll get there.

I think it will be trial and error and what appeals to your taste buds. I'm not much of a fan either but I am able to enjoy the Jillian Michaels vanilla flavor I buy from Walmart at a reasonable price. The chia seeds are a great way to add extra fiber without killing the taste.

check out the Nature's Path line of cereals too. I find them at Trader Joes but you may be able to get online as well. I like Fiber One cereals too.
