Vodka and Soda is best of the worst - no carbs! Mich ultra, Guinness are my two beer choices. Guinness has less calories than Bud Light believe it or not. Cheers, Frick

...also a pound of muscle weighs as much as a pound of fat (or feathers, or rocks). It just takes up less space. It is 3x more DENSE than fat, so as you build muscle your clothes will fit better. That measurement beats using a scale any day.

Agree with the thread that 2 weeks is not enough time to see results and weighing yourself 2x per week is too much. Relax, keep up the cardio (Good Job!) and perhaps reduce calories to ~2200 for a good pace of weight loss. 1 lb per week is healthy. You didn't get overweight over night, so don't expect to lose it overnight…

I have worked from home for about 5 years now and it's great. I work out in a home gym (dumbbells and plates on a multi bench and P90x videos). First, you should eat consistently several times (5-6) per day - Small portions every 2-3 hrs.this way you stay neither full or hungry and are burning all that you need and you are not tempted to binge knowing that your next meal is just around the corner. I have heard that it slows down the metabolism, but that is a minor vice if you walk around like a zombie for 2 hrs in the morning without it. It also dehydrates you so, drink an extra cup of H2O after. I take mine with Stevia in the Raw (not Truvia) and skim milk.

Can I suggest a basal Metabolic Rate calculator. Here you enter your target (lets use short term target if you are going from 445lbs to say 300.
