  • Yes! Week 3 and doing great! Had to travel in week 2 and doing keto was tougher on the road so only lost 1 lb that week. But this week lost 5 so far!! Total 11 lbs gone in 3 weeks! Working out everyday. Clothes feel looser, more energy... It's awesome so far!!
  • At end of week 2... hit a plateau and hope this means my body is figuring out how to become fat adapted. Still going strong! I even had to travel for business this week to New Orleans.... that was super hard!!!!! I was very good... no sweets, but I suspect some of the sauces were not keto friendly.... I had them in tight…
  • So glad you hear that helped! You needed electrolytes! Today I had 6g... I wasn't trying to go that low... it just happened naturally. It's weird... I'm just not hungry like before. I forced myself to have snapper and broccoli tonight.
  • I joined Keto for Beginners group on Facebook and have learned a ton. Plus it's a community of beginners like us motivating each other.
  • You are dehydrated so drink water or better yet Powerade Zero which will help replace your electrolytes. Same thing happened to me... increased carbs to 50 and immediately felt better... my body got the hint after a few days and now 20g or less is fine. You just shocked your body. Give it time and electrolytes.
  • Oh and I also found this website helpful https://keto-calculator.ankerl.com

  • To make cauliflower taste better roast some garlic with it...
  • An update from a few days ago. I feel seriously great now!! Got over the keto flu and I have a ton of energy all of a sudden. So glad I stuck with it! Thanks to those who offered support. And for the rest... well you can just keep scrolling next time. Bye!
  • I'm a newbie. 3 days in and I feel terrible... nauseous, dizzy, lethargic. I'm trying to get passed it, but this feels horrible right now.
  • It gets much easier as you go forward. You really can't judge the entire workout style from just one time. I'm sure the first time you lifted any kind of weights you thought "I'm never doing this again", but if you do it a few more time you'll notice that your arms don't hurt anymore and you don't get sore like you used…
  • Heck, yes! Flywheel all the way!!! I've been going for 3 months and it is awesome! Everyone is so nice and they help you out on your bike. You can go at your own pace until you're ready (and that time comes fast... soon you're going to miss going to class!) The first class is the toughest, but trust me... it gets much…
  • I have the same problem with running. I went and did get fitted for shoes that cost me an arm and a leg. The shin splints were a little better (not gone) but then I was also getting Plantar fasciitis which was even more excruciatingly painful than the splints. So I switched to indoor cycling/spinning and it has been…
