Booze makes me need to snack, also! Mine of choice is cider, and grown-up apple juice is NOT low cal. I feel that pain. I give myself a day (once a week to start, less often later) where I don't enter my foods. It's not "cheating" as I still make some effort to choose foods wisely, but I don't restrict myself to just what I enter. Let's not nitpick the OP; plenty of foods are so low calorie that they're nearly negligible. Mine: Bean Sprouts While I'm not a vegetarian, I could sit and eat bean sprouts by the cup. Each cup has only 8 calories, so that's a ton of munch for your count.

I have the exact same problem. I've been ignoring that portion and simply did my best making sure that the sugar I am eating is from natural sources. I regularly blow out my sugar goal with only fruit: no candy, no sweet baked goods, no cookies/cakes, no naughty goodies at all. Again, if your doctor doesn't say you should…

Our only problem is that since we both started using mfp, we realized that I need to eat only *half* the amount of calories he does. Meal planning gets a bit weird, but we're managing well so far. :)
