Thanks. I'll have to keep that in mind. There was no way I could have kept going until it was finished. I've only really started walking more than I absolutely had to 6 weeks ago so to be able to do the mile I did was pretty good.

Thank you. Yes it does.

I tried taking B12 but after breaking out in hives head to toe, it wasn't worth it. Good luck to you and if it's helping then I hope it continues to.

I was disappointed in mine. In all honesty, she didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know. She also didn't help me setting up a nutrition plan. She only went over which foods were better options and portion sizes. That was about it. Completely disappointed.

LOVE my Ninja. Best money I ever spent on a kitchen appliance. I've had a few different blenders over the years but none of them handled ice like this thing does.

It very well could be. If your doctor does blood work they can give you a better idea. It came as a massive shock to me since I'm only 36.

New Solution Nutrition. LOVE the chocolate peanut butter.

Here's a list. Hope it helps. http://www.drugs.com/cg/potassium-content-of-foods-list.html

I've done this. It's not a 1 or 2 minute quick thing but it's possible. I can't remember the name of the tortilla's but there are some that are really low cal. 50 or 70, can't remember which. Scramble some egg beaters. Add a little fat free cheddar cheese and top with a tablespoon of salsa. Roll it all up and your out the…

Most gas stations/truck stops stock healthy snack options now so you should be able to find something when you stop. As far as restaurants, look for the healthier food items like chicken, fish, and veggies. Stay away from fried items. Ask the wait staff for opinions on items or a nutritional sheet. And don't be afraid to…

I wouldn't think so. I was having a similar issue and my midwife ran a bunch of blood work. Seems I'm heading into menopause early so my cycle has decided to go crazy. Might be worth giving your doctor a call and see what they say.

The manager of my Hyvee's health food market recommended NSN Whey. If I recall it stands for New Solutions Nutrition. While we were standing there discussing it, another customer walked up to grab a bag of it and added her two cents. I've liked it so far.

My breakfast is always 2 scoops of chocolate/peanut butter NSN whey protein powder in the blender with ice and unsweetened almond/coconut milk. 279 calories 47 grams of protein. Takes only 2 minutes to toss together and pour into a to go cup if needed. Sometimes I'll add a little more ice and pour in a cup of coffee as…

To start off with, just log what your eating and figure out how to change your diet to make it healthier. Once you know what changes you need to make, make them. As far as exercise goes, I know pain can really discourage you. I just spent 6 months in my recliner because of the damage I did to my knee and the pain I was in.…

I'd say add some fruit or an occasional "naughty" snack to put some more calories in there if you are sure you've measured and logged correctly. At a BARE MINIMUM you should be eating 1200 per day. It's ok to eat a little less than that but it's not healthy to make it a habit of it. Personally I'm at less than 700 for…

That's the name of it. About drove myself nuts trying to think of it last night.

I can't remember the name of it but I know that there was a pedometer available geared towards kids. That was a couple of years ago so it may not be available now. My 15 y/o has a wii fit meter. I see know problem with it as long as she's wanting to pay attention to how active she is and not starting to obsess about…

I've recently come back to get my life and weight-loss back on track. I'm 7 lbs down with 115 still to go. Feel free to add me.

Completely know where your coming from. My husband used to bring home candy and cookies when he knew I was dieting. Not so much anymore but it took us a long time to get to an understand of what I need to do and why he couldn't be doing that anymore. I've got 115 to go before I re-evaluate my goal. Feel free to add me.

Since I'm still on a limited exercise routine, I haven't in the past 6 months but I do love it. Have you tried Wii boxing? According to my fitbit, I was burning a TON of calories doing the boxing. It's also good for working off any stress, lol.

Thank you whitebalance I think I'll go with that. It's certainly a workout. I come out drenched in sweat.
-
Thanks for the input. The injury did cause a decrease in my normal activity level but it was a long term decrease. I went from active to sedentary for 6 months.

I'm working on a 122 pound loss myself. I'm currently down 7 so I'm feeling pretty good about things so far. I've been here, done that, before with a 75 pound loss but gained it all back and then some over the past 2 years. Loosing it is only half the battle. Some important things to keep in mind, a lot of repeats from…

Hi everyone. Feel free to add me. I'm a 36 y/o SAHM of 3. I've been here before and lost 70 pounds just to gain it back due to stress and injury. I've been back before but couldn't seem to stick with it. This time the motivation is there and I'm ready to do this. I started needing to lose 122 and have already lost 7.

Thanks everyone. I'll look into those later tonight and see what I think of them. Since we've got cold temps moving back in, I've got a week or so to find something better. My husky may like this cold weather but I'm not going to the park when tomorrow's high is 4.

You probably need to take it a step back down. But to answer your question, swimming or a stationary bike. I can not do an eliptical for more than a few minutes. Even treadmills kill my knees. Anything that supports my entire body weight is a big no no. Before I re-injured my knee last year (not workout related), I was up…

Yeah, I got the same response from customer service. I get that it's meant for the left arm but that's just not always possible. Grrrr.. So, I've got it on my left calf right now but I'm going to try the bra next. It's racked up 12 minutes of moderate exercise, 1 minute of vigorous, and 6 minutes of sleep since I got up…
-
Now why the heck didn't I think of calling customer support? I'll give that a shot tomorrow. I'll also give the calf and ankle a shot to see how well they work.

It was originally my reward for reaching my goal weight and staying at my goal weight for at least 6 months. But hubbs had an absolute fit over the idea. When we married, I had 5 tattoos, my tongue pierced and two holes in each ear so it's not like it was a shock that I'd want something but he's against me getting ANYTHING…
