  • Omg that sounds so complicated! I do look at the nutrition on mfp and I try to do the 30/50/20 I'm not too far off most days. You have it on point daily like that though? It sounds like a whole different world to me.
  • Thanks. So what should I be more consistent with? The wine and bread?
  • Yes when I say eating healthy I am talking about organic fruits and vegetables, Greek yogurt and smoothies lean meats and things like that. I just started all this almost 3 months ago, I'd like to indulge in certain foods on occasion but nothing like I was before I started losing weight. I've been developing my self…
  • I think you just have to remember that food is not an activity! If you are hungry then eat something, eat something healthy! If you are just having cravings, just remember you don't need it. sometimes I have a craving and I will have a square of a chocolate bar or a couple chips. I think what everyone needs to work on is…
  • right, I was talking about this week I ate a lot of bread and Monday I was terribly hungover and had taco bell. I don't really know what macros are and the snacks this week were left overs from a party. I have had a pretty consistent diet, while struggling on weekends. I know that if I eat less calories I will lose weight.…
  • Oh sorry, I made it public now. I know it will be fine and I am trying to change the way I eat. I only eat bread once a day at dinner time really and so now when I go to maintenance in the future, does that mean I should continue to eat it once a day? I guess I'm still learning. This week I learned don't binge drink and…
  • I thought that was all really good advice.
  • AH. of course there is an area for recipes. lol I should have known. I guess I just like to think I'm special and can make a recipe post in Chit-Chat. All other recipe seekers must go to the designated area.
  • Thank you! I'm so excited that will be a great sunday breakfast for me. sometimes I get tired of juicing!
  • oh. well MFP doesn't allow me enough calories for 10 beers
  • Yes, I log my weight every day on MFP. Even if I gain which is basically my Mondays. But I agree it is cool to see the "downward trend" and it does help since I know if I keep doing it, it will keep going down.
  • 8# in 8 weeks is 1#/week. Looks like you're doing just fine! Are you doing any cardio or strength training?
  • I agree, don't have to get all upset about the food scale thing. what works for some doesn't always work for others. you CAN lose weight without a food scale!!
  • processed food is crap. Yeah you can have whatever in moderation but that doesn't make it any better for you. If you don't know half the stuff on the ingredient list how can you possibly defend it? One ingredient foods are better, it's natural to eat them.
  • Better safe than sorry, lightly active
  • I think about this all the time. I think the commercials I see on T.V. advertising food are just obnoxious and brain-washing. If you are not taught self-control and accustomed to eating healthy by your parents or family, then you're set up for failure! The food produced by these corporations is not even real! You can sit…
  • I save my calories for dinner. I'll have around 100-150 calories for breakfast (juicing) I'll have a coffee or tea and a banana for lunch (100-200) Then I eat whatever I want for dinner and I have room for healthy snacks or chocolate. calorie goal is 1540 but I'm usually around 1300. :) Good luck
  • I love sweets myself. I save them for after dinner.. I cut up pineapple and I buy a bar of dark chocolate. I'll have two or three pieces of chocolate and eat it with my pineapple! It's really sweet and it's totally satisfying. I bought donut holes from trader Joe's and man were they good. 250 calories for 4! So I limited…
  • i juiced. i save my calories for dinner. thay looks so good thoigh
  • It's difficult at first last year I did it for a month and mostly stayed at 1200 logging everything single thing I ate. It's just about healthy snacking during the day and saving your calories for dinner. Now I juice in the morning I'll have yogurt coffee a banana a fiber one snack drink lots of water and then I get home…
