I'm 5'2 and am having trouble sticking to the 1200 a day! I'm like you and wind up going over by at least 100 calories.

Way to rock the weight loss!

I have a stationary bike that I like to use when I'm watching tv. I think it's a decent idea to at least get you so you're not completely stationary for quite so long!

I was just trying to think of something good to give up for Lent. This challenge came at a perfect time!

I'm having Dr. Pepper. Unfortunately I have to work tonight otherwise I'd be having a Dr. Jack, too!

The nerve of some people!

That would be the easiest way to do this! :drinker:

My preference would be to have it come off my thighs and abs even those are the places are the last to see any weight loss.

I'm always happy to add new friends. Feel free to send me a request! I'll turn 28 in May. One of my coworkers back in 2012 tried spreading the rumor that I was pregnant, even though I wasn't and nowhere near looked like it. That rumor brought me here and started my journey. I never did figure what his problem was because I…

When I think of a wardrobe malfunction, I think of something like this:

I don't have an eating disorder but I got referred to a nurse practitioner in the psych portion of the Clinic I go to for social anxiety and depression issues. My primary doctor referred me over there and I'm sure your doctor would be willing to help you diagnose and treat your eating disorer or refer you to someone else…

Same here! But, yes talk to your doctor. I'm wondering about a hormonal imbalance.

For the longest time, I've was putting honey in my tea. Another option is lemon juice. I would love to suggest sugar, but that probably wouldn't be the greatest idea since you brought up needing insulin assistance. You could also get a water infuser, put tea in it, and infuse things like watermelon pieces. Otherwise, try…

I was putting on weight because food is delicious and I didn't feel like exercising at all. It's a greed issue with low motivation for exercise for me.

I had mine taken out in 2005 under full anesthesia. My lower ones were impacted. I didn't have any trouble, thankfully. The surgeon did give a syringe and told me to squirt warm salt water on the sockets after meals so I wouldn't get dry sockets and so I could wash the food out. I did eat softer foods like jello, ice…

I don't normally eat a lot of ice cream now but back when I did, Ben and Jerry's Americone Dream was pretty good. It was calorie dense (of course) but I liked it.

I'd want to sign up, too.

I'm here for the popcorn.

I have a family member who is on Metformin for type 2 diabetes. He's been on it for years. He's lost 2 lbs lately, but is heavier than he's ever been. Granted, it seems like he likes over eating and I'm sure that has a big part in it.

I"m 5'2 and my starting weight is 135 lbs. I've lost about 15 lbs and I still have a washtub belly and thunder thighs. I know how disheartening it is to not be losing where you want to.

I'm in. I'm not supposed to be drinking alcohol anyway due to the antidepressant I'm on. (Gotta love anxiety and depression... not). Feel free to add me as a friend on here!

I tried doing a 14 day sugar detox and failed miserably because I like eating fruit. I didn't do so well trying to go cold turkey with giving up soda. I also found that it's extremely difficult to find food that has absolutely no sugar at all whatsoever in it. At least what I was willing to eat, anyway.

I'm trying to lose those last few pounds, too. I'm 5'2. It seems like I'm so close, but these last 10 lbs just love me too much. I've been hanging around 120 lbs and would like to be closer to 110 and have a flatter stomach.
-
I'm at about 117 at 5'2. My nurse practitioner says I shouldn't try to lose anymore weight and that I'm fine the way I am. I'm not too worried about losing anymore weight. I started out at 135 lbs.

This sounds so good! I will have to try it. This should help curb my pizza cravings. I'm not going to lie, though. I almost thought the topic said "pizza carving" and I had to look twice.
-
Sending a friend request! Good luck and you can do this!

Awesome! Keep up the great work!

I used to have a rabbit I named Thumpingmidnight but nicknamed Thumper. She died in 2005 and haven't gotten around to getting another pet.

I've never needed to fake a pregnancy. Almost a year ago, one of my dingbat coworkers started a rumor that I was pregnant and tried telling everyone at work. I told him to stop or I'm talking to Human Resources. I did go around and tell everyone on my shift to not believe him because he is full of bologna. Still haven't…

I was just getting hungry for pizza, too. She's right, though. Don't eat the entire pizza in one sitting. If I get a large pizza, I like to spread it out over a few days. EDIT: When I worked as a medical transcriptionist for those 6 months, I gained 15+ pounds because I wasn't doing a lot of anything active.
