I think a lot of people who start eating a more natural / vegetarian / vegan diet turn to supplements because they're at a lost of where to get their protein. I was vegetarian for 10 years and in the beginning drank a protein shake everyday until I realized I could get protein from other sources. Plus when I read the…

Dealt with anxiety my entire life. I find that exercise definitely helps. Also since starting a more natural diet (i.e. avoiding additives, lots o' veggies) my anxiety has been better. I'm a calmer and less depressed.

Here to add my 2 cents: Noticed that once I started logging every single morsel that passed my lips I was able to see my issues and adjust accordingly. For me its veggies and more veggies that helps melt the pounds. Logging my food has almost become a religion. I think the key is keeping at it till you find what works for…

I was a vegetarian for nearly a decade. (went back to meat and gained a ton of weight.) Planning is the key. Research meals on line before shopping. You can get bored pretty easily so switch up what your eating every week. Beans are a great way to add protein and feel fuller longer. Stick with whole grain rice and pasta.…

In addition to seeing a nutritionist, perhaps you should consider seeing a therapist. Losing weight is a mental/emotional issue as well as a health one.

Yes. The sweetness of the soda made me want to snack all the time. I also read somewhere that diet soda causes your metabolism to slow down. I'm trying to avoid all artificial sugars. They just make me want to eat.
