Good for you! I work with preschool children and I am always encouraging parents to bring in healthy snacks instead of the norm "cupcakes" for birthday celebrations! Not as exciting-but it still teaches them that there are other choices out there!

Great job! You should look into the Couch-to-5k training program. It tells you when walk/jog and you can look for the training schedule online or if you have a smart phone there are free apps to download that tell you as well. Hey! I am on week 4 day 2 and I have yet to run 5k at all. I hope I will by the end of the program but I know I will need to increase my speed as I keep going. Right now I range from 4.4-4.8 during the jog/run. I am also hoping as you to run 30 minutes with out stopping!

Okay good-I have been walking for about another 15 minutes after to burn some extra cals and I didn't know if it was considered over working the muscles or not.

I didn't gain during my TOM, but I gained two pounds right after....

I think you really do start to feel fit when you work out. I know for me personally I feel better at work most days. I don't feel as tired. I am a preschool teacher and it doesn't hurt so much sitting on the floor with the children during the day or when I have to bend down and tire their shoes.
